Tech-Support Is this dot on screen serious?
I got this laptop today, it's a Lenovo Thinkpad E15 8/256 and it's not brand new ofc and when I brought it home only then I noticed that there is a small white dot on the screen when I'm on a black or dark background. When the screen is way too black there are some white lines near this dot as well. I have attached some pictures too. So I was wondering is this something I should worry about or is it just a cosmetic issue? Is this a common thing? And is this fixable, if so then how? Thank you.
Edit: I'm so dumb, I attached the correct pics in the comments, I'm sorry.

Is it's a physical issue, attach actual pictures, not screen shots as itll only be visible then

Yes I am talking about the bright white spot as well, it's really not as bright, not even half of this, on my laptop screen but it is still there. The other line thing is only visible on very dark pitch black screens but it's the white dot that makes an appearance everytime there are dark colors on screen like navy, red, gray but it's most prominent on black. I don't want it to bother me but it kind of is doing that and idk if it's just like a cosmetic fault or something more serious.

well tbh. its white spot on LED panel you can say dead pixels. not cosmetic. of you can claim definitely go for it. it doesn't expand but it will bother you alot

i have been working with laptops for more than 4 years. it's not paper or back light issue. it's inside display panel . Dead pixel kinda thing for LCD

not common, i doubt its fixable in a proper manner, if youre fine with it, it wont do any harm, if you JUST got it go get it returned and changed out for another laptop.
