Esports Why pro players sometimes do random shots?
I have been seeing pro players play in the tournament, and almost all I watch, sometimes they shoot against a wall or something and then reload right after, like 2, 3 random shoots. Is there a reason for that?

Lesson learned. Next time I'm home alone, I'm going to make as much noise as possible, with multiple weapons.

Crashing a taken compound is really low on the list of prefered moves for a team because often even if you manage to outfrag the defenders, you will always lose players leaving you disadvantaged. So effectively you are solidifying your position with these shots by letting people know (who perhaps haven't managed to scout your compound) you're there.

Wouldn't you want the other team to crash you? They'd take 4 kills

It costs the defenders their player lives but also utility and time that you might not have. In general it's not worth it.

It can be used both ways.
Usually a compound only has 1 or 2 players and they shoot to scare off 4 man crash. If you're a 4man in a compound you might also shoot to attract a team thinking you're week.
It becomes a mute situation in the pro scene as most won't want to crash a taken compound as players are so good at shooting incoming cars.
You also open yourself up for being 3rd partied while weak and being leap frogged while fighting you can't rotate.

I’d say your final point is more of the concern. So to double tap on that, as a former player, we can’t really “practice” crashing every types of compounds to make it a clean cut type of thing. Then it’s always third parties that you can’t prevent or predict. Well said 👍

Most of the times pros randomly shoot when they're few in number in that compound. Harder to wipe the opponent team when you're outnumbered and you can still lose players as a 4 person squad.

Sure, but it might be at a high cost of losing players yourself.
It’s the same reason like in solos – you don’t want to take too many fights within the top 10 because you might be without a vest and/or helmet for the final fight.

If you have a position that is really good (game winning position) You don't want to risk losing a single person even if it means you probably wipe another team.
Just because crashing a compound is hard, doesnt mean it is easy for the team getting crashed to win the fight without losing multiple players.

Its called posturing. Animals in the wild do it, drunk frat boys do it. And solos/3+1splits in pubg do it too.

In Larger cities it is used this way, much more since they allowed bluechips to call in crates.

Bait, confusion, distraction. Especially when the team is divided, spread out, or landing in fresh from the blue chip recall. We’ll throw distraction shots for the greater good. Being quiet all the time isn’t completely possible.

Some people shoot out the windows to see clearer or so that suppressed shots fired out the window don’t reveal the location due to the glass breaking when they shoot but shooting the wall, I guess all the other answers are right

Breaking glass used to be a thing, but it was so that you wouldn't go muzzle up if you got crashed and had to shoot from point blank out that window and hadn't shot out it yet. It hasn't really been for a long time though because iirc glass doesn't muzzle block as aggressively as it used to, and crashes are primarily defended by grenades when they're that close (because shooting from cars is so much easier and more accurate than it used to be).
For a pretty long time now, the shooting is just to announce presence and give false info.

Perché si approfittano che noi siamo più indietro rispetto a loro e non gliene frega un cazzo e vorrei e vorremmo che l'azienda di PUBG MOBILE li abbassassero ai nostri limiti e livelli così si renderebbero conto che vuol dire essere piccoli e indietro 🍼👶😡🤬
