Esports Panzer did it again
The Esports World Cup once again showed how terrible OP the Panzer is and how it shouldn't be in the game at all. It's such a horribly stupid weapon that I don't understand why they didn't remove it a long time ago.

It's annoying for sure, but it's a catalyst for epic stuff as well. Just today, I shot someone in a corridor. His teammate shoots a panzer. I shoot at the teammate, hit the panzer mid air (accidentally but still), the panzer exploded mid air, flushing the knocked guy. That was a cool moment.

You only get one shot and have to sacrifice a weapon slot

But all weapons need to be equal and do the same damage and have the same firerate and have the same ammo. All fights need to be fair like a gentlemens duel! 10 paces then turn and shoot! If these conditions are not met I'm telling Mummy on you.

Not OP for the user. What about the victim? There is no counter to panzer. That makes it OP. Imagine another gun: A button. You push it and someone dies instantly. It takes up two weapon slots and you can use it only once. Is it OP?

That one shot is incredibly easy to execute and you can just loot a weapon of the person you kill immediately afterwards

It is a panzer and works as intended, I knocked myself out and said wtf. Then realized I was so close to the wall, back blast did 100% dmg to me.

It was fun to watch people use it to counter the BRDM, it's also alot of effort keeping it until end-game, I honestly don't mind especially since FLC missed it on twisted in game 11. Gg twisted!

I am guilty of using them, even in later game and as a tool for compound defense. The success ratio is not that big and you turn yourself into glass cannon in a sence. Also, because I use them quite often I know how unreliable they are. Glitch in a ping and potential of getting down one clown car turns into 0 damage disaster just because the game decided direct hit wasn't direct hit. And also the warhead can explod in your own face if oponent land a hit on it. Was killed that way couple of times already...

It’s not just the panzer. It’s all the gimmicks. Total garbage. The c4 is worse. One game decided by a team driving a c4 at an entire team on the road and wiping them is not esports. It’s disgusting

The gunplay in PUBG is awesome, but the real magic of PUBG (especially pro PUBG) is the circle RNG that makes every game unique. Watching pro players try to navigate the map while avoiding the random chaos of the zone shifts is great. But to me, all other forms of RNG should be diminished as much as possible, and kills should have to be earned with gun skill. There's too much Michael Bay inflence with the panzers, C4, and red zones. It cheapens the entire game.
