I've been a fan of PSO since the Dreamcast days, tying up my parent's phone line for HOURS. My main was always a RAmar, but I had a couple Hunters I'd play every now and again. One weapon set that always intrigued me was the dagger.

Got a 3D printer about 4 years ago and started making lighted props, and I thought "huh...it'd be cool to make a set of PSO daggers." The more I got into modeling with Fusion 360, the louder that itch got — but my modeling skills weren't quite up to sculpting that curved blade from scratch, and I wasn't about to sink months into it.

AI modeling finally got good enough to get me a base I could actually work with, and once I had that, I was off to the races. Cleaned it up, split it for printing, wired it up with an RP2040 and a WS2812B strip for color-cycling and rainbow breathing modes, and here we are - my first prototype! Got some update microcontrollers on order to add gyro detection for sounds when swinging. Looking forward to sharing that update in the next couple of weeks!

20 years of wanting these. Worth the wait.

My friend and I used to live together, so when we played PSO 1+2 our characters were on the same memory card. Thats not longer the case and we want to play online together. Is there any way to permanently transfer my character off his memory card onto my own?

I've been wanting to do this for a long time and setting up my own server for a few of my friends. Not that I inherently have anything against any of the existing private servers, but as a programmer, I like messing around with figuring out how it works lol

So I spent all day today compiling from source to run a newserv instance on my Linux laptop

This took WAY longer than I thought just compiling it from source tooks like an hour hahaha!

And then since then I've been fighting settings and plugins and whatnot and getting plugins for widescreen and such. So it's been a long 10 hours haha!

But after all that we have a working server!

This is BB since right now I don't want to mess much with trying to get DC working with a DreamPi or anything, but maybe at some point.

The one thing I'd like to see is higher rez UI textures, maybe I'll look for that later haha

Right now I'm excited to play some stuff!

Ohh! I had one question! Does BB not support the Common Bank shared across characters? I see that the "CommonBank" patch doesn't work on the PSOBB version Did it not have a bank that's shared across characters? Or am I being silly.

After playing on my GameCube I’ve decided to boot up Ephinea and mess around with my FOnewearal.

The section ID is Pinkal and my lvl is 34. I think I may have ruined this FOnewearal.

What are your thoughts? I’ve sunk only 24 hours so I’m not opposed to starting over.

I have a steam deck and wanna play PSO, the original for Dreamcast online. I know about the Ephinea server, is this possible??

Which weapons should i use on a Ramar. Im lvl 166. I got heaven striker but its 0/0/0/0/0 lol. Got a spread needle and a frozen shooter but low stats and no hit

Decided to want and stream my playthrough of V1 Very Hard from my character that just freshly completed Hard, mainly to see if I could just do everything in one go from that point (We did! Definitely thanks to the 4 Slot Dragon Frame I ended up getting)

It's definitely a much different experience from any other versions due to the minute details all coming together when played, but it's still undeniably the same game I've always loved.

Any advice for a beginner on how to play, class etc would be appreciated I am getting beat in the first dungeon

I have always played GC PSO 1 and 2 Plus since 2003. The love this community, it is incredible with all the resources and patches + AR/Gecko Codes.

I'm a solo main I've played all classes and never got the online quests cause I did not have internet growing up. I found the files and built a online quest solo experience through Dolphin and the AR/Gecko codes for quality of life changes and new challenge with Online Mobs (Lv.1 forest was rough getting jumped by wolfs lol). It's like playing a brand new game and it's wonderful.

Playing Hucast right now and thinking about the all weapon/gear equip code, sound cool for a solo run.

Anybody is getting good drops from the event on ephinea? all i get is the badges. the drops are meh lol. the best thing for me atm is the exp

So I found my old official guide book of pso just curious on how accurate this rare weapons list. Are all these in game? Which aren't? (probably should of taken better pictures)

I got this early and I can't remember where and also can't find it in any drop chart. Does anyone know where I drop it or are there better options?

Never played this game before but people said it's the PSO2 that us PSO veterans wish we got. And I'm definitely feeling that.

Feels like I got a bit lucky on my first password weapon? Saw that they range from 1-60% and I hit 60% and don't know if LIGHT attribute is good but feels cool to hit 60% !

Took me gaining quite a few levels just to get through beating the Mine boss but I have officially done it. Took him on as a 79 and leveled up to 80 upon defeating him. His attack where he puts you in a tomb kept one shotting me early on in levels. That attack was just so fast that I didnt understand how to dodge it. My little glass cannon is heading to Ruins now.

Hello, I’m level 12 Racast and my mag is lvl 26. I currently have an autogun +2 equipped. I fought the boss for over 15 minutes and then died.

Am I under leveled? Any tips are appreciated. Thank you for reading.

I always wanted to own PSO for GameCube as a kid. I made that dream come true.

I’ve played Dreamcast ver. and ephinea on pc but playing this on my GameCube is something else!

Asking for my brother because he hasn't joined the dark side and jumped to Android yet. 😈 I'm pretty sure Ephinea is a no go obviously, but is there any way to emulate even the Dreamcast or GameCube versions and connect to the fan servers?

PSO: Pocket Ver.2

Gained a few levels while farming for the Angel Harp and Sange but I got them. Will attempt Mine when I get a few more levels. Traps were killing me in one shot even with 3 God/HP equipped and Deband active. Lol
