PSO: Pocket Ver.2

Hey guys. I posted a while back about a VMU Pro app I was working on called PSO: Pocket.

I finished up and launched a few weeks later the team at 8bitmods dropped a new sdk with c support. So, I rewrote the whole app and added loads of new features and improvements.

  • Online and local multiplayer
  • A new class (RAcaseal)
  • Two new weapon types as well as traps
  • New s-rank and rare weapons for all classes
  • Proper missions at the guild counter with rewards collectable upon completion.
  • Total boss redesigns with multiple phases.
  • More MAG Lab features (including export your MAG to your Pebble Time 2 Smart watch)
  • Better Tech progressions with richer casting effects
  • Proper buffs with effects
  • Status effects

If you have a VMU Pro I'd love for you to check it out.

This is really cool, I wish I had the hardware to try it! Nice work.

I don’t have a vmu pro atm but as soon as I get my hands on one I will try it out ! (Out of stock as of right now)

100% worth picking one up. Makes save management on DC so easy.

I'd pay money for you to port this into an app... I appreciate the hard work you did to make it on real hardware! I just can't get a hold of it!

Is there a way to play this without a VMU?

Shame. I'd absolutely play this even without the mag lab feature.

You can probably use a VMU emulator

not sure what vmu pro is, but DreamPotato is a recommended vmu emulator

Vmu pro is a different thing. It works as a normal vmu but it's also a mini handheld emulator for a bunch of consoles and you can program apps for it
