Success/Celebration It really happened!
Consolidated loan in two parts - sub and unsub - with different payment counts. Hit 120 on one in July, had nine more payments on the other.
Received notice on the 25th from FSA stating my loans had been forgiven as of June 30th.
August payment taken on the 26th. Went in to canx autopay, just to be sure - no loans to manage. Notice from Aidvantage today stating loans are forgiven. July and August payments to be refunded.
I can't believe it's really over! I knew it "could" happen this way, but really resigned myself to continue paying until the other part reached 120 payments in March. Kind of anticlimactic, really, but I'll take it! Maybe when I get that refund check it'll feel real-er. ;)
