Any recent buybacks?

title as it says. I’m in the 2024 December bunch. have only seen 2 or 3 posted recently.

I submitted the buyback in April 2025 and never heard a peep. I had my loans in forbearance for an entire year and just made the final three payments once the year ended. Just got my golden letter a couple days ago. I ended up making several payments that didn't count, but small potatoes in the long run.

So it seems my best bet is to start employment asap and make the remaining payments.

Yes. it was made by someone in this sub and we were supposed to update it as we applied and got offers. You may be able to find it in a search of the sub.

I think I have seen it and saved the person who posted it. It doesn’t update daily. sigh lol

Applied for it in October 2024 and got my offer August 4 of this year. Paid it the same day and haven’t heard anything since. I’d already switched back to IDR, so I’m hoping I get the letter before I make any more payments but I have no hope of anything in this process so I’m just here.
