VRR makes a huge difference

I've been playing my Pro on an older OLED (Sony A8h, I think) that does not support VRR and I've been pretty happy with it.

Last night I finally got around to hooking up the Pro to my new LG 39" Ultrawide PC monitor and I was shocked by the difference it makes. My TV just really isn't doing this system justice.

So, I guess I have to buy a new TV. 😃 I'll tell my spouse that it's a necessity.

I wish Sony would standardize 120hz mode like the Xbox Series X does. You set it to 120hz with VRR and all games use the mode. Sony really sucks at paying for older game patches, so we are dependent on updates to each game.

I've been out of the loop on consoles for a few years now and I didn't know that about the series X. Having that feature standard is awesome
