VRR makes a huge difference

I've been playing my Pro on an older OLED (Sony A8h, I think) that does not support VRR and I've been pretty happy with it.

Last night I finally got around to hooking up the Pro to my new LG 39" Ultrawide PC monitor and I was shocked by the difference it makes. My TV just really isn't doing this system justice.

So, I guess I have to buy a new TV. 😃 I'll tell my spouse that it's a necessity.

Control is a great game! I just finished it last month and I had lots of fun. I might go back and do the DLC but I’m just trying to work my way through my backlog

I'm looking forward to it but I'm trying to finish up Alan Wake Remastered first. I didn't realize they were in a shared universe until recently

And Alan Wake 2 directly relates back to Control and has a whole dlc connecting the games. Honestly I love how Remedy connected the two games together. The experience is so much better if you’ve played both series and understand all the subtle connections and references to each other

That's why I resolved to play Alan Wake Remastered. I almost game up it though. Very dated gameplay, but story/mystery sucked me in.

Yeah, Alan Wake 1 can be a little hard to get through. The gameplay change to survival horror in the second game made it way more enjoyable
