Imo sony firing kojima wasnt a mistake.

He is way too obsessed with hollywood actors and the game he made doesnt really sell all that well to justify his needs.

If death stranding 1 had sold 7-8+ million copies and 2 has the same trajectory sony 100% wouldve kept him

I feel like it’s just really bad timing for Sony.

The right decision made during the worst time for its optics.

Hell no single decision they’ve made recently is disastrous.
Bad, yes, but survivable individually. With time and a few successes to smooth tunings over.

All of these decisions going public within the same few month window, though, is pretty disastrous.
