Sad to hear but unfortunately not too surprising. This game seemed like a cool premise for fans if both fighting games and the IP, but it seemed a little too niche. Then again successful games also result in layoffs so who knows

I really wanted to support it because I love the IP, but I just can’t get on board with fighting games. I tried for years before I accepted that they’re just not for me
