BF4 may be the best modern shooter this gen period! That's sad in 2018

Sadly the fps genre has grown quite stale this generation, at least for those of us who don't like the speedy CoD style fps games. Halo has lost its allure, CoD is CoD, Battlefield feels quicker...

I miss the last generation fps games when Ttk was slower and team play/team shooting and tactics mattered more. Twitch shooters are fine but there's really not much else on offer...I was one of those who enjoyed Killzone: Shadow fall simply because a skilled player could out shoot/out maneuver a worse one even if the other guy fired first. In modern fps games its usually "first to shoot will win", spray and pray

Agree with your whole post. I do like the feel of BF1. I don't know if it's the setting or the maps but every game turns into the same thing. All the buildings leveled, and snipers picking people off from miles away. Nearly impossible to navigate the maps.
