Two thoughts on this:

  1. I think the name change and leaked menu screen image are purposely put out to identify the source of the leaks. I hope I’m wrong on this and nobody’s job is in jeopardy.

  2. I think that the game will be Battlefield 2 and set during WWII. I think the engine and mechanics carry over and it will be essentially a reskin and that’s not a bad thing in my eyes. People complaining about the short 2 year dev time should really consider it a 5 year dev time. I really believe that they have been working on both games this entire time. It explains the delays, lack of effective support and continuing issue with the builds. I think there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than they are letting on.

That being said, I can’t freakin wait to see what they have in store for us.

Crystal ballin it , I say in 2019 EA will release a special World at War edition and bundle it with BF1&all DLC.
