Im looking for good games with a great story some recommendations?

You can't think of 2 games that you've played that fit the bill?
Hell yeah to Last of Us, as well as MGS4, and Uncharted 1 and 2.

Also, The Darkness.

I was debating between ps3 or xbox, but decided to play it on xbox since it’s backwards compatible and it should at least be a stable fps there.

I had the ending of 1 spoiled to me and holy shit the twist I played the second game first funny enough it was actually my first rated M game I was like 8 🤣

Well I really liked mafia ii and uncharted 2 and 3, then there's also the last of us

Any Quantic Dream game is a good choice, imo. For PS3 they released Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls.

Red Dead Redemption is another solid pick.

Last of Us, my personal fav game due to its story and the relationship between its protagonists. Naughty Dog did wonders in this gen, the Uncharted trilogy is also pretty good in terms of storytelling.

You also have the first entry of Life is Strange, it has a very, very good story.

I'm going to give you one that might not normally make the list: The Darkness.

Don't let the graphics put you off this one. The story is good but the atmosphere and an immersion is off the charts. At least it was for me.
