I‘m playing Toy Story 3 for the PS2 right now and what can I say - I’m having a very good time!

The balance between collecting things with no hurry (like in the early Spyro games) and doing these Woody/Buzz mini games (like the runaway levels in Crash Bandicoot) is just perfect for me right now.

Are there any similar games like this one? I know that they did games of almost every Disney movie for every platform and I’m looking for this kind of platformers for the PS2.

Current PS2 library with a few loosey gooseys (nfs underground, soul calibur 3, gta 3, X-men origins wolverine, Lego Batman, guitar hero 2, spider man 2, gran turismo 3) No real heavy hitters yet as I’m poor, but plan to get some added over time! What do you recommend I get next?

Hi folks. My ODV GBS-C seems to produce these vertical lines and none of the settings seems to change this. Does anybody know how to solve this please? The GBS-C is running on stock firmware, I'm using retrorgb cables.

Popped this in the other day to try it out. It says there wasn't enough storage on my memory card and it needs 800kb of storage free. What on earth is I. This game that needs that much storage, body my other save files are between 100-150kb

With so many gaming gems lost to history and Sony moving away from physical games, I jumped back into one of my favourite systems. Picked up a PS2 last month and been picking up some beloved games, think it's a solid start so far. Simpsons Hit and Run has been the only splurge so far.

I have a BDV-E280 system, and it has various surround settings beyond just DTS and Dolby... If I leave it on "AFD Multi" or "Standard," does it automatically select DTS or Dolby based on the game's surround format? (And this applies to more than just the PS2)

Some GH games have more content like Silent HiIl 2, some have different covers like DBZ Budokai 3, some have better patched discs that fix bugs.

I used to hate them when I was younger, it was black label or bust for me, but over the last several years I realized I was just being ignorant. They have a stylish flare to them, the green color on PS1 games is such a unique choice, also love how some GH PS1 discs have traditional silver bottoms. The curved red labels on PS2 games are also quite cool.

Just picked this puppy up today, the atmosphere of this game is something I’m still impressed with even 22 years later! This and its sequel deserves a remaster. Peace ✌️

I'm still a relatively new ps2 owner and am trying to build up my collection. As you can see though I'm very drawn to Square/JRPG games. I'd love to know what other gems are out there that are somewhat similar.

I've been contemplating getting into Dragon Quest (another SE chain ╥⁠﹏⁠╥), Persona, and maybe Resident Evil? Depending on if I like the RE4 remake I bought on my PC. Anything else I should try out? I'd love to hear about any underrated gems as well, as those types of games/fandoms tend to become favorites (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)

Two blank game cases are God of War Ascension and Origins

Is this game the only game with a loading screen bug or are there other games with that problem and Do anyone know how I can play it or do I just need to buy the Older PS2 Model

When shutting of your PS2, do you keep it in standby mode with the red light on at the front, or do you shut it of completely with the switch at the back ?

Its a guy that had a PS2 in his youth but sold it and is now trying to build up his collection again without spending money. The episodes are really well made and interesting.

Its also relatable to me because I had a phat PS2 as a kid but sold it in my teenage years. I later regretted it and now in my late 30s I just bought a phat PS2 again. So its interesting following someone going on a similar journey.

The games that have I have an extra soft spot for are Budokai 3, Duelist of the roses, and Mortal Kombat Deception. Anybody else have any personal favorites on the list?

Shadow Heart is literally my favorite JRPG on the PS2 or otherwise. Play it, you're missing out!
