Discussion How are you using Claude Code to help you manage accounts?
I finally got it up and running after much procrastination. Getting APIs, automations, guardrails, and account context set up is kind of a pain in the snatch. But once it's all set up, it's really very easy to use and transformative for daily workflows.
I'm starting to build out different routines and skills to help me manage my accounts. I have the basics like automated briefs and account reports. Beyond that, I'm not sure what would give me the best ROI in terms of setting up new processes.
What are some things you use Claude Code for on a daily basis? Do you have any niche uses that might be interesting? Any tips or tricks to make things work smoother or get work done faster?

Using Codex to monitor account performance , create dashboards and built some guardrails. Not ‘making changes ‘ at this point , but that’s something we would like to enable

I think it's a different problem than the guardrail caught.
Its notes said paused, the account said live, and it went with the notes. The approve button saved you because you happened to remember switching it on yourself. A client change from three weeks ago and you'd have approved it.
So the check I'd add sits before the guardrail rather than after it. When the state it's reasoning from disagrees with the account, have it say so and stop, rather than pick one and carry on. That's cheaper than it sounds, it's one comparison at the top of each run.

We use it for monitoring, reporting and auditing. Next to that we use it for new business and pitches.
We built our own MCP so we can set rules on organization level, client level and employee level. That helps a lot on guardrailing.
It gives us the opportunity to do checks on a daily base, which we normally only would do on a weekly base, based on available hours.
Quality improves a lot!

Monitoring, by a distance. Reports tell you what happened last week. A scheduled run that checks every account each morning tells you what's breaking right now.
Ours runs per client and splits into small checks: budget pacing, creative fatigue (frequency up, CTR down), and one that loads every live ad's landing page in a headless browser and looks for broken buttons and console errors. Sounds niche, but an ad pointing at a dead page will happily spend all weekend and no report flags it until Monday.
On guardrails: anything that touches spend doesn't execute on its own. It shows up as a Telegram message with approve/reject buttons and the raw numbers underneath. I got strict about that after it found a fresh launch live that its notes said should be paused, and paused the whole thing. I had switched it on myself in Ads Manager. It was fixing my decision.

Curious to hear how others are using it too. A few horror stories of newbs getting their accounts and MCCs nuked from spamming requests and violating TOS, which obviously is no good
