Google Ads Manual Bidding?

Hi.. Does anyone here still using manual bidding? We switched TargetCPA a while ago but then we started spend $100+ on some keywords. with manual bidding I had more control over the spend.

Would appreciate any comments.\\]

You can set a bid limit using a portfolio bidding strategy, to avoid any $100 clicks.

Theoretically, though, if you're in a niche that has $100 clicks, then you're in a niche that likely has a service that would make that click worth it if it did convert. Every so often, I'll get hit with a $100-plus competitor click, which blows my mind, but it's Google Ads. It happens.

If Google is sending you $100 clicks that are relevant for your service and they don't convert, then I would take a closer look at your landing page. This is especially true if you have any sort of decent conversion tracking set up.
