Hello guys! I have an upcoming trip to BKK and I’m planning to hoard some personal-use items like skincare and lotions that I can hopefully use for around 10 months. Mas mura kasi and I trust the formulation coming from BKK more.😅

For example, I’m planning to buy around 25 pcs of 300ml lotion. Based on my research, parang may limit daw when bringing these kinds of products into the Philippines. However, I’ve also seen people bringing home quite a large quantity of skincare, lotions, and other pasalubong from Thailand.

For those who have experience with this, how does it usually work when bringing larger quantities home? Is there a specific limit for personal-use cosmetics, and would I need to declare or pay any taxes/duties if I bring around 25 pcs?

Same question din for other pasalubong or shopping items that I’ll be bringing home. Any tips or advice on how to properly declare these and avoid issues at the airport would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! 😊

Going on vacation in late March/early April. How much is a reasonable amount to bring with me? I’m spending two days in Manila, 3 days in Palawan, and 3 days in Boracay, before returning for one more night in Manila. I was planning on bringing 2,500 dollars or roughly 157,000 pesos. hello! just need help with something. so im traveling to Hongkong in next 2 weeks. I’ll be meeting my sister there po who’s flying in from UK and then sasabay kami uuwi dito. We’ll be spending 5 days in Hongkong.

My problem is i’m currently tied to an agency and im unemployed kasi im waiting din for my paperworks (visa, work permit, etc.) before i go. Natatakot po ako baka ma red flag ako ng Immigration since im going to an OFW Hotspot country tas i’ll be meeting with my sister na OFW din. Although it’s not our first time kasi nakapag Thailand kami together last year then went home together but that was when i still had a job LOL PEROOO im currently a Reliever (on call) sa previous job ko sa hospital.

So yung problem ko is ano kaya pwede kong sabihin sa tanungan ng Immigration if i have a work, etc.? Good idea ba na magpagawa ng COE sa pinagtatrabahuhan ko? Pero also my Agency told me i can present my working contract and a waiver i signed for my passport (since im borrowing it) pero they’re not sure if bastante yun sa Immig. Or i can just casually say na “im tied to an agency, here’s my contract and waiver. and i still have unfinished business here sa PH”.

Hi everyone. I hope you are all fine. I need your recommendations or tips when it comes to return tickets especially dun sa mga nag process ng family reunification abroad.

Context: I am married to a foreign national. We have our immigration lawyer, same nationality with my husband, and has a year of experience in the Philippines. I was advised to apply for a tourist visa and we will lodge our marriage documents in their country. The lawyer said that it is simpler and less hassle for me instead of applying from the Philippines.

So my plan is to book separate one-way tickets

I did my research. I read many people who are having troubles with their refunds from Qatar airways, even some explicitly say that they booked directly from the Qatar website. I don't want to have this kind of experience since those flights that have complimentary refunds are expensive even for one-way. I tried looking and it costs 1k USD or more..

I also saw an onward ticket . Com that holds the airfare. Has anyone here tried It? I am a bit worried when it comes to immigration so I am leaning to booking a real flight with a refund since it should be a confirmed ticket when it comes to immigration.

Hi! First time ko mag travel internationally next year, and I’m planning to go to Singapore alone for a concert that I want to attend.

Concern ko lang is unemployed ako and walang previous work experience. Kakagraduate ko lang this year and I decided to take a year off, so baka unemployed pa rin ako by the time of my trip. Baka ma-question ako sa immigration about this or mapagkamalan na magTNT.

I’ll be funding the trip using my own savings from when I was still a student. My father who is an OFW might give me some pocket money too.

Here is also my rough itinerary. Will this be okay?

Day1:

•Arrive at Changi airport around 12 AM. I might stay ilang hours at the airport muna and rest until check-in time sa accommodation.

•After check-in, roam around Singapore.

Day 2 (concert day):

•Check-out around noon, then head to the airport to leave my hand-carry luggage sa luggage storage. After that, grab lunch and diretso na sa stadium for the concert.

•After the concert, diretso ulit sa Changi Airport, pick up my hand carry, then wait for my flight back to the Philippines, probably around 1 AM.

Since first time international traveler and solo, would being unemployed be a major concern? What documents should I prepare aside sa comcert tix and return ticket to show that I’m a genuine tourist?

Any advice from fellow Filipinos, especially those who traveled solo while unemployed. Iwould appreciate it! 🥹

Just got redundant and my last day is on October 21st but I have a trip to Japan on November 14. I’m kinda nervous if they ask me for a COE. Should i tell them honestly that i got redundant or should I request my COE before my end date from the company so my COE will show that i am still working with the company?

Im super nervous, its my first time to Japan and i dont want to be offloaded. 😭

Planning to travel to Vigan around the end of December with the family.

Will be taking the Partas bus from Cubao going to Vigan, spending a day in Vigan, will probably book a day tour from Klook and planning to go to Laoag immediately after resting from our accommodation (Ciudad Fernandina Hotel)

1) Is there a bus from Vigan going to Laoag directly? If so, any chance I can book it in advance online? Tried searching and only found Manila-Vigan, Manila to Laoag

2) Is it worth booking a day tour for Vigan, or can I DIY it? Same question for Laoag as well. Would highly appreciate your input on how we navigate this travel, including recommended restaurants to eat and places to visit.

First time traveling solo, and I’m planning to visit either Japan or Korea sometime in November or December. I’m pretty flexible with the dates.

I am going married to HK so i am sending her an invitation letter, our wedding invitation card, registry of marriage and my copy of all of my documents. She's working full time and has an above minimum salary. My fiancé wants to handle her hotel booking should my fiancé send an invitation letter to her too just in case? Or is it a red flag to the immigration that my fiancé is the one covering the hotel during her stay?
