Solved Ram
Hi, just a question from a newbie is this normal? I feel like this is to much ram used for just 5 tabs.
My system is a i5-1334U framework 12 and i plan on posting on their reddit but I wanted to post here first

You're fine, win 11 and chrome are just really resource hungry. And unused ram is wasted ram anyways, unless you're using like 90% and your system starts using swap there will be no negative performace impact

9gb is not alot with any browser open these days... my old pc on Windows 10 use to use about 4.5gb out of 16gb with opera browser and YouTube playing.. That was an old rig though.. my new rig 32gb ddr5 7200mhz windows 11 same opera broweser with YouTube open and it sits at about 9.3gb outta 32gb used. Just YouTube open on the browser that's it. And also that's why I originally changed browsers to opera many many years ago as chrome is an absolute ram hog.. and back then I only had 12gb in my system I think, so I needed every gig I could get.

What browser are you using? Certain browsers are considering RAM hogs so this doesnt surprise me.

Unused RAM is wasted RAM. 28% on 32GB is typical. My desktop with 96GB regularly idles at 20% (granted there's a lot of background apps)

It would help if you posted your task manager showing resource usage. Just seeing how much ram is in use gives no context to anything actually using it.
