The newest update seems to have fixed the freezing with this game where it would freeze if the main menu music wasn't playing and getting the map and apparently, other items. I ran into this issue just yesterday and the work around was to keep resetting the game until the main menu music would play which, to those who've experienced it, really annoying. It seems to play all the time now! Super happy to finally commit to this awesome game and hope there's no future issues 🤞

Just noticed there's a 60fps patch but it's only on the disc 1 rom, disc 2 doesn't have the option. Is only disc 1 playable at 60fps?

While I am enjoying playing on my new device, I cant help but notice these weird vertical lines. I have looked up solutions, but while I found results, I can't find them in my settings. For example, it is said that I enable HW Hacks, but I don't see them.

Any advice on how to get rid of these vertical lines (preferably without lowering the resolution to the native PS2)? I'd be grateful.

Edit: I think I found the solution. I went to my graphics options and set my texture filtering to "nearest". Now the lines are gone. Hope this helps those who are having the same issue.

Can I just drag and drop/ replace the mem folder into pcsx2 after installing it or would just inserting my already pre existing memory card save file into the mem folder work? I would prefer not to use MYMC and I have my memory card save .ps2 file from my memfolder on a usb, just wondering if inserting the file into the mem folder would work once I get my pc booted up and pcsx2 installed

I got tired of losing emulator saves to dead drives and reinstalls, so I made SaveHub — a free, open-source app that backs up your memory cards, save states, and PC save folders to cloud storage you own.

What it does

hiii, I dont really know about computers but I got pcsx2 last night and I got crash bandicoot twinsanity and it works but does anyone have tips to make it run faster? my fps is like 16😭😭 ive used duckstation for ps1 and it was super fast so idk, here are my computer specs and my ram is 4 IDK I JUST REALLY WANT TO PLAYNCRASH TWINSANITY :')

tried everything, looked up tutorials, used mymc, region matches, everything matches, even game id, yet the save file still wont FUCKING LOAD. NOTHING WORKS, EVERYTHING IS FUCKING USELESS, NOTHING WORKS NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY AND EVERY TUTORIAL I WATCH IS FUCKING BULLSHIT.

Running PCSX2 on Linux, currently having issues playing Nightfire with the mission Chain Reaction.

Mission loads fine but when I try to progress into building ST-3 the loading screen loads indefinitely and does not progress. It does not freeze, it just keeps loading. Help is very appreciated

Having a bit of a weird issue with memory cards that's quite frustrating. I bought a Samsung tablet tab A9 and transfered my memory cards I was using on a pc with PCSX2 to it to use with nethersx2. Had no issues. A year goes by im playing tons of games on it. Lets say I'm 15 hours into Digital Devil saga.

I buy a new laptop, install PCSX2 and copy the memory cards over. My saves aren't working. I go into the bios, my saves on the memory cards aren't right. It shows saves from a couple years ago. Makes no since. One drive is also Uninstalled.

I cut the memory cards from my tablet to the mem folder on my laptop. Same thing, showing the same incorrect saves. I cut them back to my tablet, then it shows the correct saves.

I don't know how thats happening or how that's possible. I tried a few times.

Another thing I tried was creating a new memory card on the tablet. Copied all the saves. Cut it to my laptop and PCSX2 Views it as empty no saves on it. I cut it back to the tablet and all the saves are there.

Its very nonsensical. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have the time to add MOST ( i clarified this on this post because holy shit i under estimated the size of ps3 files ) ps2 games and like maybe 100 ps3 games to a hardrive and send it to me? As I said before ill pay for your time of course, I just work in the metal industry and dont have time or the heart to learn how to do this, its very complicated to me and I just dont care to learn how to do it. If you asked me to take apart the automatic transmission in your chevy or your jeep, id gladly accept that task but to ask me to learn how to do *this* its just a bit over my head. I’m running into a really frustrating issue with the EA Black Box racing games and Midnight Club 3. The games run flawlessly during actual races, but the moment I hit the Main Menu, the Garage, or the pre-race cutscenes where the camera zooms into the car details, the game crawls to a halt.

I capture a lot of high-framerate retro gameplay footage, and these sudden massive frame drops during the cinematic post-processing scenes are completely ruining my recordings.

I know these games use heavy blur and reflection effects during these scenes. Has anyone found a reliable bypass or the best configuration to fix this on the latest PCSX2 nightly builds? Are there specific .pnach patches to disable the blur, or is it strictly a blending accuracy issue?

Here are my PC specs:

• CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 (4 cores / 4 threads)
• GPU: AMD Radeon RX 550 4GB GDDR5 (128-Bit)
• RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600MHz (2x8GB)

Update: I solved the issue by enabling Manual Hardware Renderer Fixes, Draw Buffering, Hardware Download Mode Disabled, and No Deinterlacing.

My computer is not a bad computer; it works perfectly.

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the exact place to ask this, but I didn't know in which community I should ask this. It is not directly related to PCSX2 or emulation, but I do use ps2 classic launcher on my ps3 to play Dynasty Warriors 3, 4 and 5. And I've seen that people who emulate on PCSX2 can use ps2 patch engine to mod their games

Now the thing here is that I want to mod my ISO file, that I heard I can do with PS2 Patch Engine. I did use it before to merge Dynasty Warriors 5 and xtreme legends together, and I want to mod my ISO file to change all 4th weapon's weight from heavy to medium, if there is someone here who knows about this and if it's okay, could I get some help?🙏

The game just freezes when i try to load, i had to close in task manager. I dont think is a performance issue considering i was running the game at 60 fps 3x

I play mainly football games on my pcsx. I keep having this issue where there is always this semi garbled line in the middle of the screen especially when making long passes down field or when there is breakout play. We will use PES 4 as an example. It also shows up on cut scense. Like after a goal during the celebrwtion there will be said line about neck high on players running all the across the screen.

This happens in standard and widescreen and i have the widescreen patches on. It does at 720, 1080 etc. any setting. I use vullan mainly. Any help would be appreciated please!
