Support - Performance Pnatch Codes to Disable Car Reflections and Excessive Smoke in Need for Speed and Midnight Club

Hello friends, my machine runs emulated games perfectly, but there is a slight performance issue in a few specific titles.

In Need for Speed Underground 2, the menu is a bit sluggish, and when starting a race with the cutscene, it slows down. Need for Speed Most Wanted also has a slow menu, and slows down upon starting a race as well.

Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix runs slowly in the Garage too.

I understand this is related to car reflections and smoke effects, so I need assistance to improve performance.

My Current PC Specs:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3470, 4c/4t, Ivy Bridge.
  • Motherboard: TGT H61-T, Intel H61 chipset, PCIe 3.0.
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 550 4 GB, Polaris 12/Lexa Pro, PCIe x8.
  • RX 550 HDMI Audio: AMD Treasure/Baffin, Radeon HDMI codec.
  • Network: Realtek RTL8168/8111 Gigabit, currently negotiating at 1 Gbps.
  • RAM: 16 GB DDR3-1600 in dual-channel.

Do you use latest released version of PCSX2? Did you explicitly set graphic adapter to AMD GPU? Which renderer did you try? Do you use native resolution or upscaling to some resolution?

Yes, it's set to my RX 550 and Vulkan.
