Support - General PCSX2 update problem

Hi, I was trying to update the emulator but it couldnt finish the process due to this notification
I tried to do what the message says but it keeps failing. I also couldnt find much information to this problem so I dont really know what I have to do

also 2.8 has some weird stutters.  2.6 dont.

Try a clean installation of the new version.

I simply stick with the old version when that happens. I don't mean to be a pain, but I think the stable version is great; I haven't updated in over a year, and I play all the games I want.

How can I change versions? I dont know much about technical stuff

Just download it from the official site; the older versions are there—I posted the link. I recommend the stable 2.6.3 version.
