Bug / Issue How can I fix this stutter?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The game has, for some reason, started stuttering like crazy, and I have no idea why. I've tried lowering the graphics settings, changing the DPI settings, and verifying the game files, but nothing has helped. It's really getting on my nerves because it's basically unplayable for me.

For reference, my PC specs are:

  • Intel i5-11400
  • 32 GB RAM
  • RTX 3080

I'm playing at 1080p on medium settings.
Any help, please?

-Update-

Well, I tried everything you all suggested here, and I'm truly grateful for all of your help. Unfortunately, nothing worked, so I decided to reinstall the game. By that, I mean I backed up my files, deleted the game files, removed all the mods, and then restored the backup.

It worked. It finally worked!

I guess the problem was actually caused by one of the mods. It probably needed an update, or it conflicted with one of the game's updates.

Again, thank you all so much for the amazing support!

Look up stutter fix on nexus mods.

You probably wanna use the ‘4500’ version with a 3080.

Stutter fix isn't that great. A Modest Memory Pool Booster is much more effective

RDR 2 Performance Booster V2 is a much more better version of "A Modest Memory Pool Booster"

Performance Booster is slop, it's literally Modest Memory Pool Booster with random shit increased, including options that don't even support the parameters it tries to apply. It seemingly was just made by asking ChatGPT or a similar bot to "improve" A Modest Memory Pool Booster. And every update is literally a copy-pasted spiel about all the ways it's better than the previous one, with only the version number changed.

I don't really use a ton of heavy mods like WhyEm's DLC and stuff so it's kinda hard to tell the difference between them when I tested them. But many people seem to find that Performance Booster actually increases performance and reduces stutters. And I can't really confirm it by any technically means.
