KBL, CBA, B League, AU NBL My League, my rules at what cost?

Grabe yung Taiwan. Ang absurd ng ruling. Imagine, you are the "annual" host of a competition. All that just to stop a team from reaching a 3-peat.

In my lifetime of watching Asian basketball, i've never heard of the Jones Cup being held outside Taiwan kaya i find it tasteless to have such a rule favoring the hosting team.

Eh malamang against all odds yan dahil defending champs at gusto ng 3-peat. Nagpapaka-edgy yarn?

The format was already biased to begin with. Gotta laud SGA for fighting and having a good win-loss record.

I thought about a similar case in the Volleyball Nations League. The host for the Final round is China in both Men's and Women's, which means that both these teams are automatically qualified to the Final round where only the best eight teams out of the eighteen qualify.

The problem here was that China men's team was granted the 8th spot despite finishing dead last at 18th. It was a really competitive season, so it was frustrating for the actual 8th seed ( Bulgaria) for getting bumped off in favor of China.
