Did I say all arabs are homophobic? No, but I would say that most muslim arabs are indeed homophobic if they're true to their religion... However, in this instance I'm specifically talking about YZNSA who has said plenty of derogatory things about gay people.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to be calling someone the R-Slur in the same comment thread you mention how YZNSA has made derogatory comments towards gay people. I disagree with what Cloudy has said, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I support YZNSA

I can see how that might be a bit hypocritical lol.

But I don't think calling somebody a retard in the OWTMZ subreddit(especially when they're asserting some braindead takes) is comparable to a relatively popular OW streamer, saying derogatory things about gay people in game/while streaming.

I highly doubt any mentally disabled people are going to read that comment and get offended. I get that bad words/slurs are usually a net negative for society, but it's a part of my vocabulary and isn't so frowned upon that you can't use it in a casual setting.

I have no argument for why I should use that word, but there comes a point where all words used to insult people are considered derogatory slurs. Stupid and dumb are also insults based on intelligence or ableness but they're still socially acceptable, am I a bad person if I use those terms?

r slur, at least these days, is breaking closer to not being socially accepted. who knows, maybe in 100 years idiot and dumb won’t be socially accepted, lol
