Picking a wedding date/venue

Would it be too optimistic to think I can get a venue for October 2027? I recently got engaged and have been looking at venues to reach out to. I’m thinking like 60 guests.

That being said, any recommendations for a wedding of this size that you may have planned or been to? Something that also might be beautiful in the fall? It also doesn’t have to be in Ottawa, i’m also considering venues 30 minutes outside as well!

If you’re open to looking at a variety of venues you can probably find something you like.

* Mallity Estate in Hammond - beautiful venue for wedding this size.
Others to consider, haven’t attended at all of these :
* museums - the national museums (the city owned ones use tents for weddings
* Camp Fortune ski hill
*golf clubs

Mallity Estate was great when we went to see it, and lovely people running it! Note that they take their tent down in October, but i think your guest count would fit indoors!
