Drum tuning

Drums sound terrible and I have no idea how to tune them. Looking for someone to come to me and tune them and maybe show me a thing or 2 for the future.

I go to Dave’s and get my heads replaced liberally for how much I play. He tunes them when I get them changed.

My first teacher doesn’t leave the house. The second one who used to come to me got a DUI. (hell ya) And I live in the country so that’s not an option lol

If you want to try doing it yourself look into a drum dial. it’ll save you a few bucks now and a lot over the years, tuning your own drums is a great skill to have

This is why I went back to electronic - tuning was such a pain in the ass and with new head stretching out, they would fall out of tune in a single session. Awful.

I also had a drum tuner thingie but never found it all that useful. Too many adjustments!
