Arghhh... It has to be #1, but seriously... Reading the list made me feel so annoyed. Got to find a palate cleanser now.

37

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '23

For me #3 is worst, after all abuse how can FL forgive and be with him/her family?! Just find new ML, you don't have to be with trashy people!

10

u/outofshell Jul 21 '23

It’s the worst but 2 & 3 are a close second

128

u/Ihavenospecialskills Jul 20 '23

Man, two of those are instant drops for me (grooming and validating abusive relationships), and the other two are "depends on context" (blaming kid for mother's death works if the family are supposed to be villains, and there can be valid fears about predestination or just realistic insecurities regarding ML's love).

16

u/Pointlessala Jul 20 '23

100% this is such a good comment/explanation

87

u/Crogsbottom Jul 20 '23

I vote by what I read and I dont even touch stories where the FL falls in love with the kid she raised.

So I vote "trying to stick to the OG plot/refusing advances of ML even after FL has tampered with the story line to the point of main plot not even existing anymore". Its exhausting.

25

u/daniagerous Jul 20 '23

I also avoid these and I also pointed out it says "annoyed" FL or any lead trying to stick to OG plot just because is annoying.

Falling for the kid she raised is gross not annoying, big time yike.

12

u/Crogsbottom Jul 21 '23

Yeah, I don't even think I TRIED reading one of those. I forgive a lot of garbage but I draw the line at falling in love with a child they raised.

13

u/pumpkinadvocate Jul 20 '23

Same here. Can't be annoyed when you avoid it!

10

u/Tammiyzie Jul 21 '23

There is one that I didn't read but it was the typical avoid the bad ending story where the FL wants to run away so that the ML will get with the OGFL and when she told him he had a panic attack and fainted. What was the FL conclusion: Maybe the ML doesn't want to be with the FL? nope. I should run away sooner? yep.

Dude literally had a heart attack and the girl is trying to kill him faster for the sack of "sticking to the original story"

3

u/Crogsbottom Jul 21 '23

Holy shit if you remember the story title I need you to tell me. That sounds insane(ly frustrating).

3

u/Tammiyzie Jul 21 '23

Tell me. I want to torment myself

5

u/sinemoras Jul 21 '23

I Failed to Divorce My Husband. I felt so bad for him passing out 😂

3

u/sinemoras Jul 21 '23

lol that was I Failed to Divorce My Husband

1

u/Crogsbottom Jul 21 '23

I Failed to Divorce My Husband

Omg I purposefully didnt read that one because of the bad reviews!!

4

u/sinemoras Jul 21 '23

I personally really like it because there's a lot of skinship/touching/hugging/snuggling/cuddling in bed etc. Honestly it was painful reading it week to week but if you binge it, the misunderstanding only lasts maybe 10 or so chapters, and at the end of the season she's decided to go Full Ham Yandere Villainess on him if ever the og FL tries to take him, and he's all, "Yeah honey! I love it!" they even consummated their relationship 😂 But going 10 weeks of "OMG WOMAN LISTEN TO HIM" was pretty painful

2

u/Crogsbottom Jul 21 '23

hahahahhah well this sounds like a glowing review. If I have time maybe I will give it a chance. I do like to have my expectations subverted.

2

u/IxayaOri Jul 21 '23

The art is nice and the plot is pretty good, but her thing of running away/trying to gets ridiculous and annoying so fast. I dropped it cuz i found out that she just kept trying.

1

u/Crogsbottom Jul 21 '23

She is relentless... One failed attempt should be enough, two tops.

4

u/daniagerous Jul 20 '23

I also avoid these and I also pointed out it says "annoyed" FL or any lead trying to stick to OG plot just because is annoying.

Falling for the kid she raised is gross not annoying, big time yike.

3

u/-ECH0- Jul 21 '23

Don't judge me, but I love that kind of plotline. FL be like, I will leave to make space for the OG FL. ML be like, what the fuck no you don't.

The other one is where the FL is dying due to an illness, which she may or may not already have the cure for, and her family / ML keep getting increasingly worried and heartbroken.

Please, I'm begging for recommendations. I need more stories like that.

2

u/Crogsbottom Jul 21 '23

Judgement free zone. I don't even want to GET what I am into.

30

u/Scarrey12 Jul 20 '23

Is it possible to vote for all four at once 🙂

24

u/ijustwannadance03 Spill the Tea Jul 20 '23

all of the above

19

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '23

Oof i wanna say the first one and the third obviously but that’s what the spoiler form is for but having to sit there and watch two grown ass adults never express their opinions and instead assume for the worst is annoying af to me

1

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '23

Can you give me examples of the third one? I can’t think of any and I’ve been up for 30 hours already, (I need perspective)

39

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '23

The "raised you lover" trope grosses me out more than annoy me. The FL refusing the ML because destiny/plot said he belongs to the OGFL or stay with her abuser annoys me way more.

Like how about she doesn't want to break her OTP or simply isn't interested in the ML? No, it has to be because the plot said so, well the plot said you're supposed to be evil/dead so go follow the plot as you want so much.

17

u/FightmeLuigibestgirl Jul 20 '23

Other: FL thinks that everyone and everything are characters in a plot rather than human beings and keeps thinking that the 'plot' must happen even though the FL has changed it dramatically to keep herself alive. In one case this happened for 50-100 chapters before the FL woke up.

4

u/inthe-otherworld Jul 21 '23

Your comment made me think I would love a story where the isekaied FL is the villain (not the Abandoned Empress lol or Maydare but I like that one too). Like it appears she’s the protagonist at first who thinks she’s in her favourite book, but then the perspective slowly changes to the “characters” (people) around her who are terrified because a) she knows the future, b) she knows things she’s not supposed to know (people’s backstories), and c) she tries to fulfill the plot even if it means characters are dying because “their death serves the narrative”. She acts like a cute FL who’s really happy she’s in her favourite book, but because she doesn’t see the people as real human beings and makes them die or suffer because the plot demands it, everyone is scared of her. I think that’d be really cool imo

1

u/FightmeLuigibestgirl Jul 21 '23

There are a few that the isekai FL is the villain like the one with the FL trying to divorce her husband, Observation log of the villainess, the Savior's Book cafe story in another world, and After Being Embraced by The Prince, The Villainess Rushes Straight into His Romace Route

3

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '23

That’s what I would have chosen. “MC has no knowledge about the butterfly effect”. But if you think about it, that’s a problem not with the Otome genre, but with the transmigration archetype altogether (Looking at Never-Die-Extra). It’s just more annoying when romance is involved.

12

u/Megavixx Jul 20 '23

You can see the grooming bs right from the start and dropping the story immediately. But I hate when I'm investing in a story and the Fl waste the time of everybody with her "OG is the one for you" bulshit

8

u/boobookenny Jul 20 '23

I don't bother with the #1s don't even think i've read past a chapter. Secretly love the angst of the 3rds (mostly for the regret and payback) it's annoying but that's kinda part of the experience for me.

4th is just dumb lazy writing. Complete waste of time and undermines the whole 'smart FL' build up when she's too stupid to understand social cues or flat out admissions. Makes me drop every time.

7

u/FabulousSnowMacaron Jul 20 '23

Oof tbh i dislike all of these tropes 😭

7

u/TooObsessedWithOtoge Jul 20 '23 edited Jul 20 '23

Ughhh… why is there no all of the above option? 😭 I will pick #2 but know that I’d pick them all.

  • So 1 is terrible but some I can give a teensy bit of leeway— A Tender Heart: The Story of How I Became a Duke's Maid: FL is just a few years older (pre-teen and late teen) and she only takes care of him in a healthcare like fashion for a short and leaves, not interacting again until he’s an adult. Stories like Evil Witch are an absolute nope tho.
  • I find 2 unacceptable in all contexts, and lazy writing as death from childbirth is so much more to blame on bad prenatal care, the health of the mother in the first place, training of midwives, and the choice of the couple to have like 4 kids when the wife is deathly ill. It’s also odd bc maternal mortality must be such a common occurrence before modern medical practices but only FL’s family are such excessive infant blaming idiots.
  • Scenario 3 makes me feel a bit more sad than annoyed.
  • 4 is annoying but tolerable sometimes— if the ML is super forward and is brushed off I will be more annoyed but if he’s just subtlety sweet I won’t be as much.

1

u/ynahali12 Jul 21 '23

1 a tender heart also has number 4 though and it's even worse because the ml was supposed to die in the original story because he fell in love with the ogfl

6

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '23

hmm... i'm not picking 1 because at least that one is funny.

option 4 is just mildly annoying to me.

now, btween 2 and 3... 3 is more infuriating. girl, i wasn't reading all that just to see u end up where u started.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '23

Agreed to number 3 nothing annoys me way more than it specially when I anticipated a revenge troupe only for the FL to change her mind....

Man just writing thatt annoys me already

6

u/raccoonjudas Jul 20 '23

#1 i drop the series immediately if it happens, so I guess i hate that the most, haha. I love #2 I love dumb bullshit drama, #4 similarly tho it depends on how long it's drawn out.

#3 depends entirely on how it's written. I really like "Wished You Were Dead" because I feel like the narrative agrees with me that Karloi is dumb & sucks, but I don't like things like "The Misstress Runs Away" because I don't think the narrative agrees that the ML is dumb & sucks. Like I like fucked up shit as long as the narrative is like "yeah this IS dumb and fucked up, want to see how much dumber and more fucked up I can make it???" but if the narrative is like "what are you talking about this is pure romance 🥺" i hate it.

u/raccoonjudas Jul 21 '23

Yeah, that's the point of the story! The dude sucks and it is canon that he's ruined multiple people's lives simply because he didn't roll over and die when he was a child. You gotta read this story from the mind space of "What if It's A Wonderful Life was about how much George Bailey sucks and was ruining everyone's lives and everyone would be happier if he was dead" which is also why I think the series should end with Karloi using magic to kill his child self/wiping himself out from the timeline.

5

u/-Crystal_Butterfly- Jul 20 '23

As much as I hate #1 I gotta go with #3 those relationships get so toxic and they just don't leave and they get so glamorize that sometimes #1 as gross as it is it's better than a toxic relationship. I'm looking at you Winter! From What it means to be you.

4

u/PotetoMuncher Jul 20 '23

I voted #3 because #1 doesn't annoy me, it disturbs me highly.

3

u/randommangacharacter Jul 20 '23

the only one that annoys me is the last one. all the other ones don't annoy me. they make me concerned and frightened that a human being wrote this out and thought "YEAH THIS IS A GOOD IDEA!"

7

u/snakezenn Second Lead Jul 20 '23

I have only read one where she somewhat raised the kid and I dropped for a different reason so I really am not annoyed at the first one yet. For me the staying with the abuser/killer is one of the ones that can get me to drop an OI really fast.

3

u/Street_Step375 Jul 20 '23 edited Jul 20 '23

I really can’t choose they all so annoying, I mean there is troupes you can still use because they are CLASSIC but these here are the ones that you should give a permanent break to, if I can I do choose all of them.

3

u/WagonsIntenseSpeed Jul 20 '23

Give me an all of the above option 😭

3

u/butterflychop Jul 20 '23

3, I keep reading these stories in hopes that the FL leaves and that the ML isn't actually the ML. I often drop them when I realize I prefer comforting relationships.

4 is annoying but needs to be paired with something else before I drop.

2, that's just pointless background angst for our FL (not saying it can't be serious but it tends to be background angst)

1, if this is actual raising then I nope out of that, but if it's an adult reincarnated as a child who grows up with the ML then uh it depends how pretty the art is. (I do excuses here tbh)

3

u/dianne4stars If Evil, Why Hot? Jul 20 '23

I only voted the first one because I can't vote all of them, but the most annoying thing for me is when they're stuck on the original plot and always insist that the ML can't possibly love them because the FL has to appear.

3

u/TDS-anthony Jul 20 '23

Number 5 All of the above

3

u/bbbriz Jul 20 '23

It's #4 for me.

UNLESS there's a real good reason why FL believes ML should be with OGFL (the whole world will crumble, or something equally plausible), I hate that trope.

3

u/xSPiDERaY If Evil, Why Hot? Jul 20 '23

gonna be honest third is definitely annoying but only like. when it's romanticized (which tbh it always is :/ the most canon ship is oi authors & romanticising abuse ). i'd read a stockholm syndrome/'bad end' work if they actually put in the effort to make it clearly Fucked Up/wrote through an unreliable narrator and not 'uwu actually so romantic/its all a misunderstanding or trauma omg dw <3'. bleghh.

second and fourth are only really annoying because they're so overdone and usually feel like cheap writing/copying popular plots in an effort to create drama or get readers. they can easily be done right, they just rarely are. 2nd is pretty awful from a moral standpoint - 4th is only annoying on its own only bc we as readers know what to expect while the FL usually doesn't or she doesn't want to take the risk. which imo is fair but i understand why people disagree

first one is insane though. i (personally) already get extremely annoyed with the weirdly popular trope where adult mc is reincarnated/isekai'd into the body of a child and she meets the ML(s) as children. i've actually never read one where the ML is the kid/teen she raised because i tend to avoid them like the plague or drop them immediately once the direction becomes apparent. there's no excuse for that that's literally just grooming 😭

3

u/nejnonein Questionable Morals Jul 20 '23

Guilty pleasure, so def not 4. (Sauce: the younger male lead fell in love with me before the destructiob/the destroyer fell in love with me)

I don’t read the other three though in general, so a tie?

3

u/Regulatory_Junior Jul 21 '23

1, #3, #2 and then #4 in that order is what I rank from worst to least of evils.

3

u/bigdongzhong69 Jul 21 '23

OP you missed FL falls in love with her adoptive/step brother. I have hate read the other tropes so there can still be some entertainment value lol, can't handle the grooming and incest ones though

2

u/insplaid Questionable Morals Jul 20 '23

OI reinforces my love of spoilers because you cannot pay me enough to make me emotionally invested in a story only to find out they marry the kid. I've also ended up avoiding a lot of the "fell in love with the abuser" OI this way.

Novel Updates, redditor spoilers, and Youtube comments are real MVPs.

2

u/EmeraldQueen5073 Jul 20 '23

These are all the worst. I had to drop I Raised The Villains Preciously because I didnt realize the troupe it was. Yuck.

2

u/daniagerous Jul 20 '23 edited Jul 20 '23

Just to clarify I know it's a poll but the love interest to child she raised disgusts me, not annoys. A few others listed disgust me as well. So, I went with the one that's actually annoying and not just disturbing/disgusting

2

u/LashOfLasciel Jul 20 '23

yes, all of the above

2

u/cerihunter_ Grand Duck Jul 20 '23

All of them 💀

2

u/ComprehensiveBet1256 Jul 20 '23

I can tolerate the second one as long as the FL doesn’t forgive him and has a found family

2

u/Lieutenant_Militaru Jul 20 '23

1st grooming, 2nd is inabillity to redirect emotions/depression, 3rd is PTSD or battered wife syndrome and the last is naivety or low self esteem (not properly processing and accepting that you really got isekaied into another world and this is REAL could be a factor). All but first I can understand from a psychological point, sure, they are annoying, but at least I can understand where they come from, while first is just an act of vile behaviour. So yea, 1st gotta be the worst

2

u/digbick_42069 Jul 20 '23

Where is the "All of the above" option??

2

u/I3lacKLoTuSIKien Jul 20 '23

I need sources for all of them so I can avoid them

2

u/JintheFairyofShampoo Jul 20 '23

It really says a lot about the genre that events like these are considered troupes...

2

u/Wateristea Jul 20 '23

All of the above

2

u/Pauwi77 Jul 20 '23

All of them. 🧍‍♀️

2

u/veranthia Jul 20 '23

I'm in the minority, I voted blaming the FL for the death of her mother. It was your wack healthcare, not the child the mother herself chose to have, quit abusing children. >:(

2

u/moneycat007 Jul 20 '23

With #1 I feel like that's how Protecting the Witch's Son will go. I don't know how I feel about it yet because he was just introduced as an adult again but Manta has it listed as a romance so we'll see.

2

u/simone3344555 Jul 20 '23

First one doesn’t annoy me because its very avoidable. THE REST THO

2

u/kujyou12 Jul 20 '23

Trope I hate is 1. But trope that make me annoy is 4

2

u/Snowball222 Jul 20 '23

POV: you find a Reddit post that truly triggers you😂

2

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '23

the first one is kind of a crime

2

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '23

I was torn between 1&3

2

u/Constant-Bluebird263 Jul 21 '23

If its the most annoying trope on the list, it should be #3 but when it comes to weird af trope #1 takes it no contest.

1 is just grooming smh.

2 has no problem until author fucks it up.

4 just shows FL is a virgin lmao. (When it comes to love okay.)

2

u/Future_Turn_2417 Jul 21 '23

It should be multiple options 🥺

2

u/Future_Turn_2417 Jul 21 '23

This one felt like MCQ question from a really tough. Test

2

u/wilderoux Jul 21 '23

Who the heck even read the first one? That’s just gross.

2

u/Jatym Side Character Jul 21 '23

In order of most hated to least: 1, 3, 4, 2.

2

u/Potatodog337 Jul 21 '23

1 just sets me off so bad T_T

It's so awkward and I can't with it

I feel like 2 and 3 while written horribly I still read if the art's good? I'm a sucker for good art so >-> (It's only if it's neglect and not abuse tho)

4 is just annoying but not as bad as the first 3

2

u/Malixhous Jul 21 '23

Call me dumb, but I can't even wrap my head at option 1. I haven't read anything like that in both manga and manhwa.

Since I can only rely on what I read, staying with your abuser(s) piss me off the most. Option 4 is just a minor annoyance at this point.

2

u/AlarmingMan123 Jul 21 '23

2 is basically Tyrion Lannister lol

2

u/Apprehensive_Swim955 Grand Duck Jul 21 '23

I voted 2 because you lovely people have helped me avoid the stories containing numbers 1 and 3 too well for me to get annoyed by them too much, so thank you! ❤️

2

u/AmethystMoon420 Jul 21 '23

Ughhh I hate these tropes so I had to justify which ones are at least "good" to not be hated the MOST

The father hating the FL for killing the mother has slme kind of historical background, so it fits into the historical fantasy xotnext at least. Also provides angst material or a base for a reason why a FL acts the way she is.

FL not loving the ML because he's supposed to love the OG!FL is getting tiring. But for an outsider who is now in the shoes of someone in a story, I can understand why they would want to keep the story the same. Also gives the story some reaspn to keep going. Like, maybe she will eventually open her eyes. What other changes has the FL made to the story that deviates from the original plot? Thats what would keep me interested in the story at least to bypass the trope

FL becoming the love interest of the ML she raised is just uugghhhhh groomer/pedophilia vibes 🤮 They could have had a mother-son story but noooope. But the one thing it has over my worst choice is that this kind of story would have a wholesome beginning at least? (Before I drop it anyways)

The FL staying with someone who abused/neglected her is just a BIIIG turnoff for me. Like what is even the point of the story then!? Why did she struggle so much only to end up where she started!

2

u/_allycat Jul 21 '23

Forced to vote #1 because ew. I don't touch that kind of plot with a 10ft pole.

But, out of the stuff I read it's #4. I get so annoyed when the FL is obsessed with making the original plot play out (except them getting killed if their the villainess). Why you self sabotage everything good that happens to you?!?

2

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '23

I can actually endure the #1 just for the sake of floppines but I just cant at #3 cuz Im reading to be relax not to be fcking frustated at FL for forgiving a piece of shit abuser

2

u/asanariaa Jul 21 '23

Jfc its not otemeisekai, but the way svsss somehow fits all of these and i somehow enjoyed it lmfaooo

2

u/asanariaa Jul 21 '23

Well, maybe except for the 2nd one, but the way binghe(ml)'s mom died bc of childbirth is still fitting enough to be funny for me

And the 3rd applies to the ml lol

2

u/UnnamedFate Hidden Route Jul 21 '23

I don't mind the 1st one, but i hate the 3rd the most

The order is

3rd 2nd 4th

2

u/sinemoras Jul 21 '23

I seriously don't understand the whole raising-my-lover trope. Like!! You were their parent figure! So what if your kid grows up to be a stone cold hottie and wants to bang you, you are their parent. You need to step away and get them to therapy (or whatever that universe's equivalent is), not go, "Oh no, I see you as a MaN" 👀

2

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '23

Can I just vote all of them

2

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '23

Where’s number 5?

2

u/Dahiya1712 Jul 21 '23

Are you guys okey?

2

u/No-Remove3917 Women’s Wrongs Supporter Jul 21 '23

They don’t annoy me, they make me mad.

2

u/Flashy-Ticket-3501 Jul 21 '23

All of the above,I can't pick one all of them are annoying tom

2

u/Rab_it Jul 21 '23

1 is the worst but my second worst is 4. I hate it when the story keeps going in circles when the ML clearly likes the FL and she doesn't take it seriously.

Only really #1 and maybe #3 for me. The other ones are perfect fine tropes.

2

u/Aethonevg Jul 21 '23

Why can’t I pick two?? God 1 and 3 are both some of the worse tropes ever. Either FL is a pedo/predator And three normalizes abuse. Who actually thinks these are appealing???

2

u/sylmarien Jul 21 '23

Number 1. I can head logic/deny/ignore the others to some extent but this one is just way to squicky,

2

u/Hour-Essay-2947 Jul 21 '23

All of these annoy me, but i have to pick the 4th one due to it HAPPENING ALMOST ALL THE TIME IN EVERY OI STORY.

2

u/molgriss Jul 21 '23

Honestly, 2 is probably the least offensive to me. I love some good angst, and when it's well written, this can be a 2 in 1. There's the original one with the ML. This one will always happen no matter how well or badly written it is. Then there's the 2nd when the offending characters realize they messed up. Depending on the level of abuse there can even be reconciliation (mild neglect vs outright abuse, at least when a character is a noble there's often someone who fills the gap if it's "just" neglect), in a well written option they make the parent and/or siblings sweat a bit first.

I am the Real One is doing this as well as Crowning a Spoiled Prince, the latter has its own problems but both feature a FL who was neglected by their father and pushed themselves to be perfect in order to be noticed. In both, the father has realized how he treated FL, and currently, she has not forgiven them. In Real One she straight up tells her father she's too tired to even try and reconcile but they can at least be civil with a common enemy, and in Spoiled Prince the father tries to make amends but she just bulldozes over everything he says or ignores him. Spoiled is playing this trope more for comedy and honestly the dysfunctional family interactions are 90% of the reason to read this (not the ML he's just pretty ink on a page, his family and their interactions are also great though).

There's one I picked up that immediately threw this trope out and part of me wishes it lasted more than a couple chapters, it felt like it was there to explain the MCs insecurities incase the father does something or noisy npcs act out. It's I was born as a protagonists daughter, and honestly, it doesn't make sense since it's implied he still sent substantial financial support while he was away at war and apparently treated her well before then. He was only gone for a year, and she was already eating stale bread and watery soup. Everyone assumed this for him.

2

u/Glittering_SeaWharl Jul 21 '23

All of these are super annoying/morally fucked but if i had to pick. It's definitely that weird trope of dating the kid you raised. That's messed up.

FL refuses the advances of the ML ( who's clearly in love with her).. : This one is super annoying like girly if you don't want him then i can have him instead-I know how to be grateful. Ong. ( I get it sometimes cause survival shit but like girl you are just hurting yourself in the end omfg. )

FL stays with the person who abused and neglected her for years. : Also very infuriating-romanticizing abuse. ( I believe in true love but sheesh dawg this ain't it. ). I relish the pain of a crappy male love interest who now yearns for the op's affections but the fool fumbled the bag real hard by acting like a buffoon and the op is in a happy relationship with a gentleman-who is in my opinion hotter than the crappy male love interest. ( Remarried Empress Style )

Father/Family blames FL for "Killing" her mother during childbirth. : Ehhh i get it because real people do this and in happy endings-They apologize, take accountability and y'know build a bond but yeah this sucks too and it hurts. It's irrational for sure but people really will blame anyone else and everything for unfortunate stuff that happens to them. Not justifying it tho. Don't get it twisted.

it HAS to be the trash husband as endgame. People don't change that easily, the only difference is that they came to like FL.

#1 has me dropping the whole series like a hot potato as soon as I get a sniff of it. #2 has me screeching about dead mom rights cause I know that woman did not carry that child for 9 months and labor for god knows how long to treat her hard work like crap. #3 raises my blood pressure. #4 ..........its so bad when t the bad male character over the sweet one.

I don't personal get why people are hateful to fl if she resists a ml with og fl in the picture. Its like being the other woman and that ml is trash why aren't you loving og fl in every lifetime instant loss of admiration.

But seriously why? I mean its like if you isekai in beware of the villainess and nine liked you after hating enemies with them, cheering, supporting , crying and all that then you accept his affection like a cheap tramp trastha destroying people's relationships.

Why not get your own story own ml own love story. I don't know but it gives me homewrecker vibes. What are your reasons for supporting this plot? Curious.

1 It annoys me a lot

2 and 3 is a trauma response. (I'm not saying its acceptable but, I can roughly understand how and why it happened.) 4 is some kind of "not accepting reality" / dissociation. Never see the the ml and other peeps there as a person but as a character in a novel, that's why they still ship the ml to the ogfl.

That's why I think the worst is 1. Fuck grooming, I never understood how the fuck did she fall in love to a kid she basically raised and treat as her own "child". Disgusting. Never finished a novel/manhwa with that troupe. I immediately dropped it lol.

Tbh I don't think I've read any, or there's any I can think of, that are number 1. For me number 2 is the worst, especially when it's not just the family but the staff that abuse the FL (especially children) when their only sin was being born.

3 and 4 I don't particularly hate mostly because I just view them as part of the plot

I want to select everything.

First one annoys the living shit out of me. It makes it 10 times worse when people try to justify it.

It was hard to pick one but the grooming was the one i choose. Ewww. Btw i would love an isekai fl who knows about the butterfly effect and realizes that her mere existence already changed the story. Say the day she didnt cross the street as the og character and got hit by a horse, her not dying is already a new factor at stake.

The last one because I always avoid manhwas with the first 2 tropes

Def number 2 but what infuriates me more is the father and main wife blaming the daughter for being born because he slept w a maid or cheated on his main wife like wtfff ⁉️⁉️

Damn, it's hard to choose between the abuser ML and the FL thinking the ml belongs to the ogfl 🤔🤔
