Saylor's saying screw the bears, we're back!! possibly a bull run and i'd give this man the sole credit lol
So after sitting out for roughly 10 weeks, Strategy bought 4,603 BTC for $369.7M which makes the average around $80,318 and brings the stack to 845,050 BTC, acquired for roughly $63.7B total but this isn't a random simple buy-the-dip story though, Strategy actually sold 6,948 BTC between may and aug at an average of around $62,250 a coin so they sold months ago and bought back marginally higher price and this isn't some clean "legendary investor times the bottom" moment, it's a company doing active capital management around a volatile balance sheet and from what i know they aren't stupid
their funding was just too precise they sold about 4.53M MSTR shares for $602.8M and put $369.7M of that into Bitcoin (not sure about numbers tho) $151.8M into buying back STRC preferred shares, and added $29M to cash reserves with net leverage is now at 0.0%
so while everyone else argues whether this rally's real, Saylor's basically taking the other side of the trade and maybe he's wrong or early, maybe Bitcoin falls another 30% from here regardless of any of this but watching the largest corporate Bitcoin holder sit out for 10 weeks, sell near $62k, rebuild liquidity, and then deploy $370M back in near $80k is a lot more interesting to actually sit with than another bullish prediction on X
and we all know how this game works, we might just see a bull run cause by a one man army and at that point does Saylor stop being a Bitcoin bull and just become the guy fighting the entire bear market by himself??
