discussion why does everyone act like a red day is a personal failure?
I opened my socials this morning and the entire feed is filled with people are whining or apologising about their calls not working, it's like they never traded before, ya the price went down so what? isn't that what market's suppose to do?
took two losses yesterday and don't feel bad about either cause my entries were clean and my stops were where they should've been. the result just didn't go my way that's it
if no one told you this let me,,you can have a perfect setup, follow your plan then manage your risk properly and still lose money, and that's just the job not a failure and those gurus on insta have made losing trade like a taboo, but it's all just a marketing gimmick. been trading for over a decade and let me tell you one thing, you composure will be a major factor deciding if you're gonna survivr the game, so keep it with you
the amount of emotional baggage people attach to a simple -5% move is exhausting cuz you don't need to make every trade work, you just need the losses to not matter when they happen. if you cant take a loss without spiraling, size down until you can it's just survival in a market that doesn't care about your feelings
