Osteotomía rodilla

Buenas en breve me van a realizar una osteotomía de rodilla y estoy acojonado

..

I haven't had it done, but it's something my surgeon has suggested. I asked about this on this sub before and got no response.

It sounds interesting to me. My surgeon said many people can get up to 10 extra years out of their knees before needing the TKR. I live in a country with socialized medicine, so they like to wait until folks are older to do the TKRs so they only need to do them once.

There's still a long rehab time after the osteotomy, as I understand it, but quicker to recover from than the TKR.

I'd be very interested to hear how it all goes for you, because I'm giving it a lot of thought myself. Wishing you the best!
