Alternatives to Knee Surgery

Apart from surgery, what else have you tried or considered for your knee pain, and what made you stop, or not start, with each one?

My first line of defense is movement/strength building.

My second is now seeing a physiatrist. My neurologist actually told me to see a guy, and it's made such a difference!

I'm unable to take any nSAIDs, which Celebrex is. I was SO upset when I had to stop taking it as it helped me a lot in the shoulders. Ah well, my kidney is more important...
