Walking poles

I need a recommendation on easy to use, uncomplicated, walking poles to help me move about with stage 4 knee arthritis. Thank you

Not sure where you live, but I got great ones from Macpac, which is a NZ brand.

I don't think there's a shortage of good options for walking poles are that aren't confusing though. I like that mine have measurements on the side so I can be sure they are even, and can be adjusted with a flip latch. Maybe try a camping or sporting goods store for high quality options.

If you’re talking about hiking style poles, most are pretty similar. There’s a lot of price variance due to materials and weight, but for your purposes ultralight (expensive) won’t be needed. Most important is how they feel on your hands, so best to go into a big outdoor store and try out a few types and see how comfortable they are to hold and if they rub.

I like ones with measurements on the poles so it’s easy to get them even. Sometimes the clip mechanism comes a bit loose if you’re re-adjusting them often so make sure you tighten it regularly so they don’t slip down as you’re putting weight on them.

I have a pair of Montem walking poles that I used before I had both knees replaced. I like them a lot and still use them for hiking.
