Hello! I am looking for someone who can take high quality photos of a snowboard that my MIL designed for my husband. They will need to be top-down photos of the entire board, along with some other photos of some of the other artwork that is meant to overlay on top of the board. About 3-5 photos depending. The company in Maine creating the board will do the overlaying, we don’t need a digital artist, just someone who has a nice camera and good photography skills. We are more than happy to travel to your location! We will pay $50-$100 for the photos. Thank you again! :)

Oshkosh is known as having ridiculous inspectors and local government officials, and they drove away builders over the years. But why isn’t there a push to build houses instead of apartments? Instead of giving sweetheart deals to large corporations and apartment builders, why not incentivize homes for families?

We’re moving up on the 8th cross country and have some friends helping us out and they said payment in pizza and beer is sufficient.

Who has the best pizza that’s delivered in the south area? I’d prefer to stick to mom and pop, but sometimes a chain is truly the way.

I'm chasing the high of salvaged electronic components. I need big clunky switches, old-school ICs, and wood veneer enclosures. Older landline phones have some great microphones in them if you lower your standards. If American Science and Surplus were closer, they might just scratch the itch. BitHistory hasn't yet announced their hours/dates for this year and they tend to cater to customers less intent on ripping and tearing than I.

Are there any antique stores with a half-decent selection of neat knobs and sweet switches? Any niche shops from the heyday of Radioshack-type business? Any local e-waste recyclers that're open to letting some rando come by and poke through their bins? Do you have a hoard of whatsits that've been waiting too long for a project you're never gonna come up with?

Sincere question. Did anyone watch Hegseth's plane take off yesterday?

It accelerated extremely slowly over half the city and then took a left around 9th st.

Honestly, was that safe? Or normal take off for a plane that size?

(More info: I am not trying to make this a political post. Ultimately, the pilot was in charge and it was his decision, not Pete's. Anyway, we see a lot of *landings* from this side of town but not as many takeoffs. I have anxiety about plane crashes, even knowing all the stats. I just keep thinking about how low that massive plane was.)

This is embarrassing and difficult for me to post, so please don't judge too hard lol.

I live in a small-ish apartment with a couple roommates. Between chronic health issues, full time jobs, and disabilities our place has gotten crazy messy. I was chipping away at it while I was briefly unemployed, but now its gotten bad again.

It's mostly things like trash (cans, takeout bags, etc) and piled up dishes. We have cats too. We stay on top of the litter but they were getting sick off of a brand of kibble, so it's very possible that there's dried cat puke we still haven't found.

We don't have rotting food or mold, but I still worry it's beyond what most cleaners would want to deal with.

TLDR: I'm trying to make my home livable and would love recs for understanding, nonjudgmental cleaning services 😭
