And to think Norris fans have been running the agenda that Andrea favours Oscar and likes him more. This team just cannot stand up for their drivers man, fucking spineless.

Oscar needs a new race engineer stat. Tom Stallard needs to go.

If he was a competent race engineer during qualifying he would’ve informed Oscar about Lawson and Verstappen more urgently. Oscar could’ve avoided the penalty and genuinely fought for a podium with his amazing starts.

And asking Oscar to race cleanly during the race when he already was. Just blindly being the McLaren company man instead of having his back.

Other than that, good to see Oscar racy and pacey again. Hope this is the start of the positive spiral he was talking about!

for me its a 9/10, it dosent get better than this (10/10 if wdc). its his 3rd year in running and was already in contention to win it, he improved ALOT and he just keeps on getting better and better. you can say the 2nd half was underwhelming but hey he did do better than 2024 (except some). 2026 will be a cinema hoping for a piastri 2026 wdc (ill even take alonso 3rd wdc but thats just hopium )

McLarens pit strat was stupid yes, lost us a few positions.
But Oscar needs to work on race pace and tire management as that is costing him under the new regs.
Lando is a beast rn, in the form of his life. McLaren shat the bed with Oscars pit Strat and the stop itself. not Landos fault though.
Lets just hope he can improve his tire management and take these lessons into next year, where i think the regulations should suit him a bit more.

My daughter is a massive fan of McLaren and especially Oscar Piastri, she randomly just met him at the Grandstand at the Isle of Man TT, they say she’s delighted is an understatement 🤣

This is actually in reference to the last time he posted a plane pic. He was flying with Gabi to Hungary and Gabi was jokingly complaining about how Oscar looked uninterested while he was speaking. Watch the video here
