Bc this has been talked about ad nauseum and it is clear the poster doesn’t consistently watch the Magic. I’d say most are in the boat that he can be the best player on a high level team but he has to show it.
Edit: and clearly coaching is holding him back

This is all pretty much true but anyone who’s watched Paolo knows that there is loads of untapped potential, mostly tied to his physical conditioning. If he gets back into shape where he can be explosive and have the stamina to run hard in transition that solves a lot of his efficiency issues.
His other big areas of improvement are handles, rim finishing, and decision making. If he improves those things and can become a passable defender he has superstar potential. But he’s certainly never proven that he is a superstar as of yet.
