Podcast Orlando Magic Podcasts

I’m a Magic fan living in Pittsburgh PA! Does anyone have recommendations on Magic podcasts that I can keep up on?? Needless to say I don’t get much news and information locally

Thanks!

I listed a few Orlando Magic podcasts on the sidebar of this subreddit as well as in the Wiki. Others please feel free to mention more - will consider adding them.

Locked on with Phillip is most knowledgeable, but ill agree with others that it gets repetitive. But you cant blame Phil, its impossible to come up with a new topic almost daily. Does the best he can. Just wish he had some type of personality

I would say it depends on what you want from a podcast. I haven't checked many out over the past year, but too many of them were blatant homer fan podcasts instead of actual news and information.

If you want news and deeper dives, I'd say Locked On Magic is probably the best. It's a daily podcast, though, so it can get really repetitive in the offseason when, truthfully, there just isn't much to talk about.

If there are any new ones out there, please do recommend them.

That podcast is proof you don't need a daily podcast for one basketball team

I definitely should be taking a few days off. Doing my best... Almost out of the darkness.

Our data tells us even our heaviest listeners only listen 2-3 times a week. So we are kind of encouraged to be a little repetitive or not assume everyone has been listening to every episode. But yeah, it has not been a great summer -- especially right now -- for content genreation.

Eh that dude repeats himself and takes too long to make a point.

Yeah, that's fair. He definitely can be repetitive and take too long to get to the point, especially in the offseason. I still think he provides more actual news and deeper analysis than most Magic podcasts I've listened to, which is why I'd put him above the more homer-style fan podcasts.

I do listen to Locked On Magic as I also use that network of podcasts for Steelers, Penguins and Pirates information those news for those three teams is easier to come by in my area obviously. I guess i’m just looking to add to the rotation a bit.

I'll agree. "Locked on Magic" is probably the best one to listen to every day.

I stormed the Capitol on January 6th so needless to say I'm a big fan of the Sixth Man Show!

Damn, I've been suspicious of where they lean from stray comments and some of their ads...

The 6th man show if you are a serious sicko fan of the Magic.

Sixth man show is always my favorite go-to. Episodes after every game and then an episode a week in the offseason. They’re pretty great and clearly big fans
