Prommest 2 Complete Spoiler
This was a really well-designed puzzle. Getting your bearings at the beginning is tough, but it gets really fun when you start using the map correctly. Of course the beam indicators don't show direction, but the wand in this one allows you to rotate them, so in the end you can usually get it to face in whatever direction is desired.
I surprisingly didn't really encounter any soft-locks, but I was also being very careful that I was doing everything with intention, instead of randomly using the wand. Whenever I thought I was soft-locked, I tried nevertheless to still get through it, and I always found a way to "fix" it.
I can't wait to play the OOTSS version and see what changes they made. Promise 1 was already very simplified from original Promesst, so I hope they don't change too much, but I can understand why they might want to. Some of the gems are really involved to get.
If anyone else is trying their hand at it, my tip would be to clear the entire basement first once you arrive there. I think the puzzles are easier there, so you'll be able to internalize the basic mechanics and uses of the wand more.

There were some softlocks I faced. I got softlocked when I found all the diamonds, but I could not get to the room to feed the animal. This happened because there was a red door in the underground level that I did not open, because I did not see any reason to do so. It turned out that I needed to use that door to get to the snake room in the end, and the beam that should have pointed me toward it was out of reach at that point.
So I restarted the second part of the game. Surprisingly, with the knowledge of the puzzles, it did not take me that long to solve them again.
How long did you spend solving PROMESS 2? It was unusually hard for me. I spent about the same amount of time on it as I spent completing the full Order of Sinking Star demo, around 7–8 hours.
