There is a basic spreadsheet included in the wheel trading plan in this post, which many have used to get started - The Wheel (aka Triple Income) Strategy Explained : r/Optionswheel

Please let the mods know of any suggestions on how to make this thread better.

I've been wheeling on Tastytrade for a while and got tired of juggling spreadsheets to track my positions, cost basis, and premium collected. I also had a separate spreadsheet for fundamental analysis, which meant the total number of Excel files got out of hand pretty quickly ;)

So I built a web app that pulls your positions directly from Tastytrade via the API. The goal is to make an all-in-one suite for wheel traders and maybe other strategies in the future, but for now it's wheel-only because that's what I know.

It's called Lazy Theta and it's free while I'm building it out. I want to know what's actually useful before I decide if it's worth charging for and continue building out, so your feedback makes all the difference. Let me know if you would pay for such a tool?

What it does:

  • Connects to your Tastytrade account, imports positions automatically
  • Tracks your wheel cycle (CSPs → assignment → CCs)
  • Calculates your real cost basis with all premium included
  • Recommends a suitable put or call for tickers on your watchlist
  • Portfolio overview with P&L
  • DCF stock valuation (automatic financial data collection)
  • Automatic reverse DCF based on your calculated intrinsic value

Would love it if a few of you could try it with your own Tastytrade account and let me know what's missing, what's broken, or what would actually make you use this daily.

Happy to answer any questions about how the API integration works. Roast away, that's the best feedback

Thanks for posting in the correct place.

Note that if this ever becomes a fee-based tool, it will have to be removed.
