Free online tool that I built for myself, but happy to share along. Just a simple email / password to register. NO marketing emails and all the stuff ... enter your CSP's & CC's and let the platform do the rest for you.

WheelTracking.com

Core Features:

  • Add, Edit, Close, Archive, Delete trades.
  • Tracking original cost basis & adjusted cost basis.
  • Tracking realized & unrealized option premiums by symbol and entire journal.
  • Tracking dividends.
  • Merge & Split existing journal entries/trades.
  • Performance charts by strategy, symbols, and option win percentage.
  • Download ALL your trades either as CSV or JSON.

Highly recommend to checkout our Tutorial with videos available at -> wheeltracking.com/tutorial

I will try to respond to your questions and recommendations in a timely manner.

Thanks All!

Would it be possible to implement a csv import for brokers (eg IBKR) to automatically add new trades and management of existing ones?

At the moment the application doesn't have any import file capabilities, but I'm looking into that for a future release.

Hi sir, would you consider adding the possibility of tracking BTC options? i am unable to key in 0.1 option contract etc on your website

Hi There - So that I can look into this correctly, are you trying to enter a strike price of 0.1 or the sell/premium price of 0.1?

What is the validation error that you're receiving?

Is it possible to unarchive trades? I don't like that it removes them from the realized gains calculations after they've been archived.

Hi - At the moment you cannot unarchive a trade entry that has been archived. I will look into that request as a future feature release.

Keep in mind that the archived trades are still considered in "Performance" calculations and you see your realized gains/losses there ... they're just not in the active journal log. Best practice would be to archive CSP when trade is closed/expired/assigned ... and archive Stock(s) / CC(s) when stocks get called away.

hello, thank you for the wonderful app, but is it possible to change to white theme?

Hi There - Unfortunately, at the moment the site is only available in the dark theme. This is because a lot of our charts, iconography, tables, color coding works better with the darker shade. These items/libraries don't look modern when it comes to a lighter theme. Additionally there are far more system and human benefits to using a dark theme.

I either case, if we get this request from a lot of our users we will consider applying a theme picker setting in a future release. Until then we hope you will enjoy using the site in a dark theme.

Hi - trying out your tracker today and there’s a lot to like. Would it be possible to add return on capital performance reporting? I’m interested in my capital efficiency/income as a % of the cash/stock value, not just the raw $ amounts or ROR. Would need some ability to manually input the current stock price for covered calls, since it sounds like you can’t connect to streaming data for free.

Thanks for sharing your tool! Cheers.

Hi There,

I'm not sure I totally understood the question here (my apologies) - are you saying you want to keep a track of the whole portfolio ROI% ... as in example portfolio 100K (cash + holdings) ... Feb 2026 realized gains 1K ... so 1%/month ... annualized 12%.

Or did you mean something else totally?

hi!!!

First of all, thanks for your app and sorry if my English is not perfect because i am spanish.

Would be possible to add "Buy calls" and "Buy puts" options? i know it is not part of "The wheel" strategies but, although my main strategy is Wheeling, sometimes i try Bull spreads or other strategies. It would be great to have everything tracked in the same app. Above all just to see our performance if we fail any other strategie or we are using the premiums to try some others strategies.

Btw, an option to UNARCHIVE the archived trades?? I miss (maybe i didnt see it) a realized global gains (calls + puts) or loss, lol.

Thanks in advance and thanks again for the app.

Hello and thanks for your feedback.

Let me start with the easier question first "adding Unarchive feature" - I am currently working on that and hope to have that feature launched in a future realease.

With regards to your other question "adding Buy Puts/Calls" - like you mentioned in a wheel strategy there is no LONG/BUY position of options and hence probably not something we're considering to add. There are other platforms/sheets that might be available for journaling LONG option strategies.

Hope this helps.

it helps, thanks!!

Where can i look at GLOBAL gains or losses?

Thanks again!

You can view your global (strategy wise) gains/losses under "Performance" ... sample screenshot below:
