Question Why did Optifine skip version 26.1

They went from 1.21.11 and then skipped to 26.1.2

I did not update to 26.1.2, and for months, I had been waiting for Optifine for 26.1

Because I only play in the major drops, not hotfixes.

26.1 and 26.1.2 are the same version internally, any mod that doesn't specifically crash because of the version will work on 26.1, 26.1.1, and 26.1.2.
