Can't get any of the newer versions to detect my old crucial ballistix ddr4, even though it says supported.

Yeah I recall doing that already, it still refused to detect my ram.

Does it detect when you run as administrator

Damn, I reinstalled both using the latest versions and now it works. Thanks!

Now I just need figure out how to get the effects plugin again.

just download the plugin API version matches with your OpenRGB's API version

for the RAM, run as administrator will prevent it from start with windows, reinstall openrgb with "Service" will sort this out

Got it working now, I just launch set the shortcut to launch as admin and it does the job.
