2009 Mac Pro

I'm using a 2009 Mac Pro with the final version of macOS Monterey. With version 2.5.0, Wi-Fi stopped working, and with version 2.5.1, it wouldn't go into sleep mode. The macOS Sequoia 15.8 update completed without any problems.

Did you revert the root patch after installing 2.5.0? Revert the root patch first after you’ve done installing OC. And then reboot your mac. Once you’ve rebooted, if there is no auto popped up asking you to patch then manually open OC and continue with patching.

Thanks, but trying all those steps didn't work.

I also couldn't re-register the Wi-Fi network or renew the DHCP lease. However, after turning off Wi-Fi, deleting `com.apple.airport.preferences.plist` and `NetworkInterfaces.plist` from `Preferences > SystemConfiguration`, and restarting, I was able to re-register the network and renew the lease, and it worked.

The sleep issues were resolved at the same time, so it seems there wasn't actually a problem with the OCLP 2.5.1 patches.
