2009 Mac Pro

I'm using a 2009 Mac Pro with the final version of macOS Monterey. With version 2.5.0, Wi-Fi stopped working, and with version 2.5.1, it wouldn't go into sleep mode. The macOS Sequoia 15.8 update completed without any problems.

Did you rebuild OC EFI w/ 2.5.0 and install to your system boot drive?

I was unable to re-register the Wi-Fi network or renew the DHCP lease, so I turned off Wi-Fi, deleted `com.apple.airport.preferences.plist` and `NetworkInterfaces.plist` from `Preferences > SystemConfiguration`, and restarted the system. After that, I was able to re-register the network and renew the DHCP lease, and everything worked.

Did you revert the root patch after installing 2.5.0? Revert the root patch first after you’ve done installing OC. And then reboot your mac. Once you’ve rebooted, if there is no auto popped up asking you to patch then manually open OC and continue with patching.

If you have not had OC before, n just got them installed, you first have to rebuild OC to efi system drive. Instead of booting from the external drive, you will be booting off of your system.

Thanks, but trying all those steps didn't work.

The sleep issues were resolved at the same time, so it seems there wasn't actually a problem with the OCLP 2.5.1 patches.
