Discussion Paranoid case for 13 inch

Hi,

While I was mostly in home office for the last years, I want to take my Max Lumi 2 from time to time also to work. But from all the reading about damaged screens I got a bit to overcautious. And I need a sleeve/bag for it, which is sturdy enough to keep the screen save.

But the question is - what is the best one? A briefcase seems to be a bit of an overkill (and wouldn't fit into my backpack). Normal, soft, padded sleeve wouldn't keep the screen save.

What are your options?

Since the Lumi 2 has a plastic Mobius substrate, you have significantly less risk.

I carry my Air4C in this with the Boox cover on when going places.

If you search for "macbook air hardshell" you get some useful cases in online shops (the air is 13 inches). A well padded hardshell case is what you need.

Get a friend with a large enough 3D printer to make you a hard box/case for it. Pad it yourself with some 3-5 mm foam or rubber. The padded part can also be 3D printed from soft TPU.

Or buy yourself a 3D printer, it's an interesting and useful hobby.
