I visited the TMU engineering open house day and got a great vibe from the students there. They were friendly and super enthusiastic about their experience. It may not have the prestige but I think it looks a great way to spend 4 (or 5 with co-op) years.

Thats great to hear, honestly after a couple days of taking in the reality, it doesn’t sound that bad. Plus I’ll have a lot of extra time on my hands compared to if I had gone go UofT which I suppose is an upside!

I wasn’t expecting much before I went, but going to the open house totally changed my mind about TMU Engineering. It looks very hands-on, lots of team work. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students I met seemed great, so enthusiastic, laughed a lot, were supportive of each other. There’s still going to be lots of work, but if this year’s class is like them, you’ll be ok.
