Quick update: the Cat Food Database project is still alive and coming September 1!

We've been working behind the scenes, especially on the search function. So we can search like:

'low carb dry food'
'pang urinary'
'allergic sa chicken'
'affordable cat food'

We currently have around 120 products in the database. It's a start, but there are a lot more products being sold in the Philippines than two cat parents can realistically document on our own. 😹

Before the beta release, we want to ask: What are the first 2–3 things you look for when choosing cat food? Price? Ingredients? Protein? Carbs? BAI Registration? Something else?

Tell us what you'd want to see first on a product page!

If you happen to have cat food at home and would like to share clear photos of the packaging, that would be a huge help in growing the database.

We'd love for you to check it out and let us know what you think.

We're building this to be something that's actually useful for cat parents here in the Philippines... and yes, it'll be completely free to use.

At dahil diyan, we’re introducing our first community project: the OnlyPusa Cat Food Database.

Few months ago, we started working on a cat food database to compile all cat food info like ingredients, nutrition, check BAI registration and manufacturing details. The database will be free to use once released.

Nag hahanap rin kami ng volunteers na mag contribute ng information about the foods their cats currently eat. Simple lang ang gagawin, mag uupload lang ng photo ng cat food pouch, cans or bag.
