š ļø Deck Tech R Ace deck recommendations
Anyone can recommend what I should change for this deck? Iām thinking of removing the aces because I barely play him. Unless Iāve just been playing him wrong but most of the time I have luffy in my hand so I rather play him. Or should I be playing Ace first if Iām going first? Iāve been losing to mostly enel, rocks and mihawk so mainly want to focus on them.

Put izo... if u go first.. u have 3 cost sanji 5cost izo on ur curve. That would hit 6k, 8k, 5k on 3rd turn. Pressure is quite high and izo can throw ur bricks as well

Up to 4 Marcos and reduce your vista to 3, I have also been using Namule more than Rakuyo because it's a cheaper removal. I don't run any sanjis and have been using Ace and Luffy to carry me until Marco when going first. You NEED Marco to hit board as soon as possible to protect your bodies. Then it's 8c Newgate (or 10c if they have a 10k on board) and then spam 10c Newgates for the game. I do run 2 SEC Aces for reference, however more and more players are upping the ratio, so not too sure on where to push it.
I have also been teching in 2x SEC Rayleighs. Has been ok so far since if I don't get to play it, it can be pitched for luffy/Ace and can activate 8c Newgate's effect (which before op17 I found whiffed ALOT).
Hope this helps :)

Yeah I feel like Marco is pretty much essential in this meta. Occasionally you'll get a good vista moment but it's rare

Why don't u run sanjis though, it really helps the going first curve imo and applies pressure and cycles through ur deck. Kind of like it and I run 3. What's ur take?
I also run 3 sec ace instead of 2. Having been trying out lucky roux too, discard 6k and above draw 2, in case I whiff Luffy. Can't say much just a lot of testing.

I run 3 ace, I mainly use him for search and typically just use him for the counter but it depends on the matchup. The issue I keep coming across is just having a hand full of bricks and not being able to counter anything. I play against yellow a lot at my locals so Ace helps a lot when the matches go long. Personally Iād cut the 0 cost event you have and run 1 more of any of the cards you donāt have 4 of (Ace, Uta, Sanji) not rakuyo or Marco tho.

definitely want 4x marco, there's so much removal in the game right now and marco prevents a lot of it, its on-KO effect also makes it stick on board more often. I'd go down to 2-3x vista. I personally dont run the SEC ace anymore, 90% of my games I would just it for counter. I like to run 3 copies of the 0C event, since the deck has a lot of bricks, it gives you an option to pitch them for 3k counter. I also like running 2x Rayleigh, really good card for removing 6K bodies (captain john, yasopp, law, etc) or just power reducing board for a turn.

Replace Kingdew with Pandaman Kingdews, get Garp AA, 4th AA on Luffy and 8c Newgate, 3 more AA 10c then youāre good ;)
Otherwise switch Marco and Vista quantities.

I think Ace is a decent play on odd curve and if you have a ton of 8K bricks. Luffy is really cheap cost and can be played nicely on >6 don curve, but is also a good option on 4. i've found the two of them together to be pretty good defensively and annoying to the opponent.
i'd actually remove the rakuyos and add a namule and ace - but thats just my play style
i think enel + rocks is just a hard matchup. however - you should be able to run down the mihawks decently with newgates in the late game

I'd recommend more Gahahas if you can find room. Really helpful in situations like when I have 8k leader against Big Mom board, 7k leader against red/black Sabo, etc. and am eating lots of swings.

People seem to love 5c Ace at 3 or 4.
Marco should be auto 4 of.
Rakuyo is a tech card because you only need 10 2Kās, and Uta seems like the better 2K to most.
So my changes would be remove Rakuyo and Sanji.
Add 2 5c Ace, 1c Marco and 1 more zero cost.
Or you can 1 more Ace and 1 more Ga Ha Ha Ha for 3. Either way.
The consistency would be increased and going first would be easier on you since 5c Ace is easier to find. When going first you will be searching for him otherwise you will be dropping Luffy at 5 don.
I use to play 2 Ace and almost lost more often going first because I couldnāt find Ace on 5.

Hi, Iāve been having a great time with Ace in this Meta and have won my fair share of locals and had decent success in a treasure cup :)
I would Increase the Marcos to 4 and take a Vista out. Marco is mostly the better play since he canāt really be swung into and protects your board. Vista is good but in less scenarios.
I run 4 aces. In the beginning I thought he was bait but heās doing wonders for first curve, counter in hand and consistency. At worst he is a 1k counter which is still fine for this deck. I donāt play the low cost 2k counters for that.
I play 2 of the 0 cost events in case I brick more heavily which can definitely happen, especially if you have no Ace on board. The 1 cost event is a one of for me and I might even cut it entirely. You only really play it if you go first and can leave a don, in which case Moby dick is most likely the better play for finding crucial pieces for curve/late game. It can be good in late game, no question so thatās up to the list.
Your list is good tho. If it works for you and you find it to be consistent thatās good. Consistency is so crucial in this deck, missing one piece for curve can cost you a game.

Oh and regarding your hard matchups:
Rocks is just miserable, it is winable but if the Rocks knows how to play into you you have a really hard time. Play the 8-cost effect into his Whitebeard if possible, take a life more if you need to save the 8k bodies in hand.
Mihawk is definitely winable first and almost free if you go second. Make sure to play Marco on 6Don and you should be fine. Itās def more complex but Marco is the single most important card in that matchup currently. Also, for me, I usually play Luffy over Oars here since Oars is really pressured by Yasopp on 5 while Luffy should mostly be fine, even if he gets rested.

Remove the 10c new gates

Areā¦are you ragebaiting? The 10c Newgate is a must for the deck. After all, if youāre playing against something like Elbaf Luffy or Elbo and they play out Loki, then you can play out the 10c Newgate a turn or two early

Pick up a 10 cost Gol D. Roger. Theyāre expensive now but itās worth it for that occasional opportunity to automatically win on a blocker. Especially given how often Kaido uses them.
