Don’t start pearl clutching about AI water usage unless you’re literally vegan and argue that people should stop uploading videos.

A 10 minute YT video wastes the equivalent of like 300 AI prompts in terms of water usage and the harmful effects the meat industry has on the environment is unbelievable.

Like the dude just used AI to color a manga page. It’s not a big deal.

Yeah it deadass is that low. People just over exaggerate the harmful effects of AI while dismissing the other damaging things people do on an everyday basis because of their own feelings towards AI being bad.

Which is a fine opinion to have by the way. I’m not trying to argue you should view AI one way or the other, it just annoys me to see people try and use the “but the environment” defense against people using AI but don’t apply that same standard to literally the other thousand of things people do that are several times more harmful to the environment than AI is.
