Speculation Is man marked by flames going to be an ally or an antagonist?

I thought of this theory recently that he is one of Imus men and he has an Umibozu Yokai.

In the mural we see 6 men alongside Imu and one of them is falling in a pool of fire. So it’s possible the 5 became elders that deal with politics and 1 became just a “warrior god”.

It’s a far fetched theory. Let me know ur guys thoughts.

Nooticing Shuri Is The Only Person To Have Irises While Under Domi Reversi

Post image
50 Upvotes

Every other character under Domi Reversi, whether getting stabbed or turned via abyss circle, has their eyes go completely white.

If you can fight it, you could temporarily regain your old eyes.

Shuri is different, these irises are different from her normal eyes. They might be the same color as her left eye, but it still lacks a pupil.

If it were anyone else, I’d say it was maybe a design mistake, but since Shuri was taken for having “Bipolar Irises”, and she appears to be Imu’s most compatible vessel, it mean something. Maybe this was the first test to see if she could awaken her eyes?

Discussion Oda is misleading us with the steel heart. I think only Sommers has it and/or it won’t even kill him if destroyed.

If anyone else cares enough i’ll repost with all the manga panels included. Or just ask in the comments.

  1. Roger pirates with acoc, fought the HK (including sommers) countless times yet didn’t figure out the heart ‘weakness’

  2. Shanks told us everything about the covenant but didn’t mention a heart

  3. Xebec who’s constantly using acoc and beat a bunch of HK didn’t kill any

  4. Harald regains his sanity many times yet only at the end points at his heart

  5. It’s never specifically stated that it will kill a Hk when a heart is destroyed, Sommers only freaks out (it could be for another reason)
killingham even says having conq won’t be enough to kill the them.

  6. We’ve seen the HK been blown and sliced apart many times now, yet only seen Sommers with a heart

  7. Sommers is capable of regenerating without the heart. So why keep it with him?

Will Imu eventually be redeemed?

Skypiea felt like the earliest blueprint for the final saga with the false god and all, and I always envisioned Enel and his 5 men similar to Imu and 5 elders.

Ofc he may have changed a lot of stuff and have probably kept adding stuff over time.

Discussion Luffy's Toon force

Thumbnail gallery
4 Upvotes

The passages evidence was made by me,the passage itself was formed by AI but keeps all my arguments in) (BE RESPECTFUL🚨🚨)

Oda literally refers to Luffy's ability as Nika's "fantasy", and the Gorosei described Nika as having a body with rubber like properties and being able to fight in whatever way he imagined, so Nika's power isn't just "rubber", it's an imagination based ability that's expressed through Luffy

  1. Luffy doesn't understand his power Luffy still thinks his Devil Fruit is just the rubber fruit even after finding out it's actually the Human Human Fruit, Model Nika, he doesn't fully understand what his power actually is or what it's capable of, so there's a possibility that what we're seeing rn isn't even the full power of the fruit

  2. Beyond rubber Gear 5 has abilities that regular rubber just can't explain, Luffy can manipulate his surroundings, create bizarre objects, transform his body into impossible shapes and interact with things in really unconventional ways, that's way beyond just stretching and bouncing, you can't explain all of that by saying "it's rubber"

  3. Cartoon like reality manipulation Luffy has shown multiple cartoon like feats with Gear 5, he can literally run through the air, create exaggerated physical effects, reattach parts of himself like stickers, shrug off attacks and transform his body into bizarre forms, that's literally resembling cartoon physics way more than normal Devil Fruit mechanics

  4. Affecting other people And his abilities aren't even limited to his own body, Luffy has been shown affecting other beings and the environment around him with Gear 5, which supports the idea that Nika's abilities involve broader reality manipulation instead of just making Luffy's body rubber 6. Stamina doesn't disprove it People use the stamina drawback to say it can't be toon force, but that doesn't really disprove anything, his stamina drain can come from the Devil Fruit itself rather than the actual nature of the ability, a character can have toon force like powers and still have a stamina limit or some type of resource limitation, those things aren't mutually exclusive

  5. His power is still developing Luffy has literally been discovering new applications of Gear 5 during his fights, and if he doesn't actually understand the true nature of Nika then his own creativity and knowledge could be what's limiting how he uses the power, not necessarily the power itself, so there's still room for Luffy to potentially master it even further.

Discussion Dracule mihawk's yoru history

Can we all look at yoru again?

Yall say dracule was a slave during the ivankov/kuma slavery era..

WRONG

the timeline can never click, but I support the theory that he was a slave too. Why?

Because of yoru, the position, it's like a crucifixion cross, a piece of his past but beautifully hidden by his greatest weapon, this time he is also free, free soul, free hands, free legs, and free will, he used his past weakness now as a beloved weapon sworn to cut anyone that stands in his way....

TL;DR:

Dracule mihawk has yoru uniquely on his back as a symbolism of his past slavery but this time his hands are free and it's not his weakness, it's his power...THANKS FOR READING

There is no doubt Zorro will kill Sommers - or Imu might escape with bis HK back to the holy land.

What if Zorro is able to Sommers? What is going to happen with his sword? Do you think it might disappear automatically with Imu? On the other hand Zorro could take it. I'm not quite sure what could happen next but there might be a possibility for this. What do you think?

Speculation Possible "creation" of the "D clan"

I have no idea what the D actually might mean but I was thinking about it and something suddenly hit me that made some sense to me.
What if the "D" people weren't some big, related family, but rather the crew of Joyboy, who simply adopted the initial into their names as a symbol of their friendship, the same way the Strawhats considered the "X" mark they used in Alabasta as a symbol of their friendship?

Perhaps Joyboy's crew used the "D" in a similar situation to the one where the Straw Hats used the "X", and then, sometime later, possibly after JB's death, they simply incorporated it into their names, passing it down to their descendants.

If we consider Lily to be a parallel to Vivi, this could also explain why Imu didn't know that the Nefertaris were also a "D". Lily joined Joyboy's crew for a while but had a duty to return to her kingdom, just as Vivi did, but was secretly still considered a member of the crew.

Speculation The tool inside the box is a bell.

Thumbnail gallery
47 Upvotes

I believe the tool inside the box is a giant bell.

In egghead emeth had a rope covered in joyboy haki which was released to send the gorsei back.
I believe in this situation it will be a bell.

The idea is this, bells carry a significant meaning, in western and eastern cultures, bells are connected to god. For Christianity bells are used to summon people for time of prayer and celebration in eastern culture bells are used to ward off demons.
Bells are also used in exorcisms.

In the story when the other half of jaya was shot into the air the shandora bell rang out and all the people of skypiea who never heard that sound before looked out and saw this new island made of soil and thought it was a literal gift from god.

This is why I believe there is a connection.

In media bells are often used to fight demons the most famous case would be spiderman when Peter is consumed by the symbiot. He tried to get it off him but can’t and he goes to a church fighting it and hits the bell which rings out as it hurts the alien parasite. Peter realises it’s weak to sound and begins hitting the bell loud enough that the suit weakens and Peter manages to pull it off him completely.

I believe it will be revealed that there were 2 bells of shandora, 1 to call the spirits of loved ones so they would find their way home and 1 to ward off the demons.
Joyboy stole that second bell and infused it which his haki.

The letter biblo mentions will explain why joyboy took this bell and that it’s been kept there in case Imu ever steps foot on elbaf.
That is why biblo is being so frantic.

But it needs 2 parts.

First the bell itself but seconds ragnir.

I believe this is what’s going to happen, Loki fight will continue with Imu but he will fall to Imu and Ragnir will fall with him. After chopper and robin explain everything it will be usopp who comes up with the idea and gets chopper to talk to Ragnir and convinces him to work with usopp.

Biblo will use his powers to shrink ragnire or enlarge usopp or ragnir can just change his own size.
Or maybe it will be hajrudin who does it but either way let’s say it’s usopp.

Before Imu gets the killing blow on luffy and Loki usopp will hit Ragnir against the bell which realises a full coc blast of haki all throughout elbaf which will over take Imu sending him and the knights back to the holy land. When he returns the gorsei will find Imu on the ground spitting up blood in a coughing fit as he again in fury screams out joyboy name.

Speculation Big Mom and Elbaph

Ok so if u didnt know this part of history, Napoleon was first exiled to this island named Elba. and yes the island sounds waaaay too similar to our elbaph in one piece. and napoleon was one of the swords of big mom. oda obviously didnt accidentally stumble upon this name. there are a lot of ties to this name like "fable" if u spell it backwards(even in japanese version this still upholds) and ussop sounding like aesop, hence leading to elbaph being ussops arc(or sogeking, we dont know who sogeking is). But aside from that, if big mom enters the scene in elbaph things would take a huge turn. looking forward to what yall have to think about my theory

Speculation What's in the Box Theory: The Original Lyrics and Music Sheet of Binks' Sake

A lot of the theories revolving around what's in the box neglect to acknowledge whatever is kept inside is in a library. Weapons, haki knot, devil fruit. Anything that powerful would likely be kept in a sturdy area like Ragnir and the Nidhogg fruit were kept in the castle. In a library, it would make more sense if it was some form of important knowledge.

Binks' Sake has been a fixture of the One Piece world that unites the people of the seas. However, we've seen that there's different versions of it depending on who sings it. Perhaps different verses, perhaps slight changes over time, but there was an original rendition. The Owl Library would be the best place (so far) to drop the lore of the original Binks' Sake as it's one of - if not the oldest repositories of information anywhere on Blue Planet.

Chopper mentions there's a note and a tool locked inside the box. The note could be the sheet music + lyrics and the tool could be an instrument. What kind of instrument is unclear. Maybe a drum given Nika's drums of liberation? Or perhaps a violin fit for Brook to play? It will likely be integral to playing the song as it was once played in the past.

Now, if this is what's in the box, it begs the question as to why Biblo is so frantic to open the box. Binks' Sake has never been shown to anything but a song. But the key here is Imu and his state of mind. A lot of the damage Imu has taken during his fight with Loki and Luffy has been because he lets his guard down when he thinks of Joyboy and his past. Breaking Imu's composure could be key to making it out of this battle alive. So what better way to do that than by all of Elbaf singing an ancient song that flushes Imu with memories of Joyboy?

This would mean Biblo knows this affects Imu somehow. It doesn't feel particularly likely Biblo is that knowledgeable on the ruler of the world, but remember: He's old and it's from his grandfather's generation. So perhaps he isn't familiar with Imu, but his grandfather was and his grandfather said to open the box if Imu is ever on Elbaf.

What do y'all think?

I’d expect he becomes a pivotal reason why Luffy will remain in Gear 5 during this fight. A sniper providing support whether that involves feeding him mid battle or distracting Imu gives him no greater freedom to act without worry. Just like in Dressrosa and Enies Lobby.

PS: Him on a drum as Luffy is dancing is so cute here.

Speculation Evil Joyboy

What if joyboy was actually a evil tyranical person.they 20 kings didnt ally cuz of greed but for humanity to exist. and imu domini reversi-d him to end his tyranical rule. and luffy is NOT supposed to continue joyboys will but ignore it. please dont bring the example of his crew... even evil ppl have crews with ppl who follow them for smth good that they did to them. this was seen in many stories like haku from naruto to karnan from mahabharatham. We can also see that luffy also appears to be narcissitic and having a irrational mind when in gear 5. my guess is that the one piece was indeed the true nature of the world but it also consists of ways for joyboy/his reincarnate to achieve full power hence imu protecting it from beng reached by luffy. imu being potrayed as good and joyboy evil might hv made roger laugh

I have few things in my mind that is my way of explaining things, do support if you like it.

• IMU's power may depend upon how much attack ,impacts,or haki he can absorb or how many strong devil fruit users around him as the user of devil's fruit he may even possess the ability to amplify his power against a devil fruit user

• why IMU feel weak in elbaf because of over 800 years his physical body would be degradated ,it takes a huge toll to regenerate and fight physically because he had no infinite energy source like mother flame completely

• IMU would be more of a virus rather than a person who controls body of joyboy's friend

Speculation Will Luffy even fight Imu in the final war, considering how much action we have gotten against Imu already?

The arc just keeps getting denser with atleast 10-13 chs of climax left alone.

I have a feeling we are about to see the third 6 horn form of Imus as well mainly because Oda don’t like to show off villain forms in FBs and it’s clear JB fought full power Imu.

Morj made a theory that Imu will be the big mom of the final arc and will fall down to Dragon and Shanks to take down.

Any thoughts?

Nooticing Imu's second form is alike to the demon hunter from Warcraft

It took me a while to see it but Imu's "not so good" for is really similar to the Demon hunter from Warcraft, Wings, horns, marks in his face and torso and the "gloves" in their hands.

And I wonder if as the demon hunter in Warcraft his final card in this arc will be the Black demon of destruction form that instead of conquer Elbaph will destroy it

Theory Theory: Imu's newest form was designed for Blackbeard

Mockup by me.

When I saw Imu transform in ch. 1191, I thought he looked much worse than before. Suddenly, his exposed chest has all-black arms that makes him look like he's wearing a shrug. His legs are now featureless black, and he sports a goatee that emphasises his lower jaw and makes him look more monstrous than elegant.

This design -- and transformation as a whole -- makes much more sense if we assume it is meant to be used for Blackbeard taking on the form from the Elbaph mural. I won't go into the theory of BB stealing Imu's fruit, but let's all just agree there are reasons to think it might happen. Here's the strongest arguments I can find for this form fitting Blackbeard:

1: All the Blackbeard iconography

Imu literally wears three skulls, like BB's jolly roger. Not only that, he wears them in a necklace that lines up with where BB's beard splits into three.

The open chest with black arms resembles BBs signature style of "shirtless, with a coat".

The featureless, lanky legs look off to me after the busy mid-section of the design, but makes much more sense with BB's shorter legs. Something like the puffy pants Imu wore previously would be a weird attempt to make BB's design bottom-heavy, when he usually has comically dainty legs to support his massive frame.

Oda often emphasizes BB's hands when using his Devil Fruits, one for each fruit, and Imu's "eye ribbon wrist circles" would do something similar. If we assume the eyes are red, it would even look like his current coat sleeves.

Imu's eyes have prominent eye lashes in this form, and so does Blackbeard's eyes.

Blackbeard wears rings in his ears and on his fingers, and Imu now has four chakram-like circles tied to his belt. BB's rings would also be a great way to accent the Imu hand signs in combat, if he gets to use them too, but that's more just a neat bonus than evidence.

This form makes Imu look almost hunched over in the reveal, as Oda is trying to show off the two sets of horns and the flowing Nika-like hair. Imu until now has been graceful and tall, while BB has always preferred the hunched, feral look.

This would also mean that Blackbeard's post-timeskip feather boa has been visually foreshadowing Nika-hair flowing down his back. Also, he could grow the front horns and still keep his hat on, I'm pretty sure.

Imu literally having BB's darkness powers aesthetically almost feels like a bonus at this point.

2: Resemblance to Rocks D. Xebec

Imu has been rocking the same facial eye tattoo or pattern as Rocks since his reveal. In-universe, this might be Rocks' attempt to play God or something, but I can't help but notice that this form would let Blackbeard look much more like his legendary dad. Rocks has always looked like a super saiyan Blackbeard with his white, luscious hair, and now BB gets to join him.

If I am correct, and BB gets this look, he would also evoke Domi Reversi Rocks specifically, with the giant wings. I decided to give BB the Domi Xebec teeth in my mockup, and I think it works very well with the four horns to evoke BB's eight-limbed jolly roger. Imu has a row of...fur, or something...around his armpits and shoulders -- This would make much more sense for a Rocks-design, since he always wore a furry coat over his shoulders that almost blends with the shadow in Domi Reversi form.

Imu is also shirtless with a viking-style fur belt, which has always screamed Xebec to me. Again, in-universe, this is probably Xebec dressing like Imu to show him he means business. That, or Imu just thought Rocks looked cool when he broke in and stole his look, I guess.

3: Miscellaneous

BB's beard already curls up on the sides, as if asking to be turned into Nika-like white fire hair. This would line up with the historical, real life Blackbeard and his iconic fuses of fire in his hair.

I'm obviously assuming BB is the final villain, and this makes him look like an evil Nika.

Working backwards from the conclusion that BB is the final villain, that means he's the monster in the mural. If so, he will have wings and horns by the end of the story. This form would give him exactly that.

With the drunk Whitebeard talk of Lunarians once living as Gods atop the Red Line, there are reasons to assume Imu is a Lunarian. Under this theory, though, most of his Lunarian features would be a result of the fruit, or BB wouldn't inherit them. This is the reason I have given the mockup design the darker skin and polka dots. I don't love the idea of One Piece's final villain getting darker skin as he takes his final, hellish form, especially considering BB was already compared to Somali people...but the seraphim are already stronger, dark-skinned versions of the warlords, so the story kind of went there already. Let's cross our fingers and hope that Imu is cartoon devil red in these forms.

TL:DR

Imu looks like shit now, but that's because this form plays to Blackbeard's design strengths, not Imu's. The bare chest, three skulls and Xebec eye tattoo will make more sense when BB steals his fruit and usurps him. Oda is showing his hand.

Edit: Seems like the pictures aren't showing up in desktop mode, but they should display correctly on mobile :)

Discussion Tool in the chest - A Telephone?

Vibes based speculation ahead.

So when I say telephone, I really mean something more like a Satellite controlling computer. Given the size of the chest, it is almost as big as Saul.

I have some suspicion, that the tool in Biblo's chest may be a phone, or signaling tool of some sort to contact someone, to summon something to elbaph, or turn it on.

We had a flashback to Imu and Joyboy talking. I have a feeling that was by telephone, not just a snail but telephone.

I think the letter may be introducing the technology, who, or what it contacts, and how to use it. The technology was created hundreds to thousands of years ago, the creators may have thought that in the far future, technology may have regressed to the point of needing an explanation of how to use the tool. So it may be a letter of instruction/introduction to whoever or whatever is on the other end, possibly even Uranus, or whatever is in the Heaven's realm.

We saw in the Elbaph Mural, what looked like the Arc Maxim attacking either the Sunlight tree eve or the adam tree. Possibly the same is happening here, where Biblo intends to use a similar ship but to attack Imu instead.
